Toby's POV:


As I'm on my way to a mission that I was told about a few days ago, I was in line to go outside. As I walk up, slender stops me at the door. "Not you, child. You're going to help your new roommate move in. Off to your room, Boy."

'This is gonna be interesting' I thought as I walked up the mansion's many staircases. As I finally reached the top, I saw a person(?) about 7 inches shorter than me. They honestly didn't look human. They had gray-ish pale skin, and a blue mask with black eyelids, at least I assume they were eyelids. I remember thinking they're mask was pretty cool.

I began to help them with the boxes and decided to say hi. "H-Hey there!", I said maybe a little too loudly, because it made them jump a bit. "Oh u-um hello?, you must be the roommate that tentacle dude told me about. Toby, right?" "That would be correct, mystery by. Wait- boy right?, or girl, or nothin-" ''Yes, boy is correct, and I'm Jack. Nice to meet you." as he said that, he stuck his hand out for me to shake. "Nice to meet you too!" I said as I shook his hand.

"Also, Sl-ender o-or Slend-d-derman." I corrected. "Wait, that's the tentacle man's name?" "Y-yup!" I said as I brought the second box of his into my room. "W-want help u-unpacki-i-ing, J-jack?" I said as I unintentionally cracked my neck. Stupid ticks. "Oh sure...also what's up with the studders and tics?" He said as he opened the shared closet. "O-oh th-tick-at- I uh, have t-touret-tes.". I grab another one of Jack's boxes from outside the door. "Ah, okay sorry if that came off as rude, I was just interested.". "I-tick-its totally fi-ine, Jac-ky.".

"W-wait- what the fuck- Jacky-?". "O-tick-oh, sorry d-do you n-n-not like i-it?" I said as I was hanging up his small amount of clothing. "Oh w-wait sorry- I like it, i'm fine with nicknames, just not used to it.". I heard him say a little louder than normal. "A-alright-tick-ty, s-so how ar-e you?"
"I'm fine I guess, you seem cool wanna be friends- maybe?" as he was closing the closet.

"O-of co-ur-se!" I basically yell. He covers his ears a bit after flinching. "S-tick-Sorry Jacky, d-d-didn't mean to be so lou-d." "It's whatever Toby, I just have sensitive ears." He almost whispers again, probably from the loud noise. "A-ah alri-igh-t. I-i'm goin-g to go n-n-tick-now, bye J-Jack!". "Bye dork!" I hear him yell as I walk out of the room.
