Chapter 9

Amelia's POV:

-"Here is Amezona!" Alex said

-"What?" Arizona and I was very confuse

-"Amezona! Ame from Amelia And Zona from Arizona! It's an awesome nickname"

-"Oh I like it" Arizona said

-"Me too!" I kissed her

Arizona got a phone call

-"Amy I need to talk to you"

I nodded and she took me to an on call room

-"What is it?" I asked

-"I want to ask you for something and tell me if you're ready"

-"What is it?" Arizona set in the bed and I'm still standing

-"So I talked to my Ex and asked her if Sofia can come here in the winter break, she talked to Sofia and she called me now telling me Sofia really wants to come, So my question is... Are you ready to meet my daughter?" She was really nervous, I could tell because she played with her fingers and didn't look at me. I get on my knees and picked her chin up and made her look me in the eyes

-"I can't wait to meet you daughter Arizona! I'm sure she's really great! She's really important to you so she's really important to me!" I said still staring in her eyes

-"How I got you?" She asked and smiled

-"Because you're my best friend and my favorite person in the whole world" I kissed her forehead

-"So some things you really need to know about Sofia, One, she HATE mint! The smell and the taste. Two, she's really shy so maybe she'll not speak much in the beginning but when you get to know her she never stops! Three...." Arizona told me about Sofia for like another 15 minutes but it was so beautiful to see the spark in her eyes talking about her daughter, she's such a good mom.

Arizona's birthday is coming soon and I really wanted to plan her a surprise birthday party but when I went to April she told me Arizona hates birthday's parties so I just booked us a place to her favorite restaurant just for the two of us, not something big at all. I knew Sofia need to come two days after Arizona's birthday and she's really upset for missing her mom's birthday so I thought about it and I talked to April to plan something nice to all of us, April, Me, Arizona and Sofia. She'll love to do it.
April told me she booked us tickets to a movie Sofia can't stop talking about and then to a restaurant Arizona and Sofia really like.

-"How do you know so much about Sofia?" I asked

-"I'm her auntie she calls me too, every couple of days"

-"Oh, Thank you so much! You're a life saver!"

-"Your welcome!"

-"I just want Sofia to like me.."

-"I get it, Sofia is a really nice little girl and she's gonna love you Amelia don't worry!" Me and April became really close friends after the night out she's very nice and funny and Arizona's best friend.

Arizona's POV:
So today is my birthday I don't really know if Amelia planned something but I don't like birthday parties for me or if she even knows it's my birthday...
But I woke up and didn't saw Amelia in bed

-"Amy?" I yelled

-"Don't move I'm coming"

She entered the room with a tray with eggs and bacons and hot chocolate and a little cake that says *Happy Birthday*

-"You remembered!"

-"Of course I remember! and I also know you don't want a birthday party so I booked us a place for your favorite restaurant just the two of us"

-"REALLY?? Oh baby!" I kissed her

I ate my breakfast and Amelia and I was in bed

Amelia is downstairs and I'm still getting ready upstairs and then she got in the bathroom with a little blue box I took it

-"What is it Amy?"

-"Open it!"

I opened and saw a beautiful necklace with a little butterfly on it

-"I love it! Thank you Amy!"

I asked her to put it on me and it looked perfect
-"It's perfect thank you" I turned around and kissed her. We walked downstairs and Amelia starts music she took my hand and we start dancing it was really fun we laughed and it was a great morning I can't wait to the evening.

-"Happy Birthday!" April hugged me when I entered to the hospital, she gave me a present

-"Aww you didn't need to!"

-"Yes I did, Open it!" It was a really cute ring

-"Aww thank you!" I hugged her

I was at the hospital for a little while and when I got to the attendings lounge I saw Meredith there with Ellis, Zola and Bailey.

-"Happy birthday aunt Arizona!" Zola smiled and gave me a balloon and a hug

-"Yes! Happy birthday aunt Arizona!" Bailey hugged me

-"Thank you guys!" I hugged them and then Alex walked in and took Zola and Bailey to the daycare

-"Aunt?" I looked at Meredith and she just smiled

-"They asked me if it's okay to call you 'aunt Arizona' because you're dating their aunt and you're always around, I said they can try but is it ok?"

-"Of course it's okay!"

-"Can I hold her?" I asked, Meredith said of course and handed me Ellis

-"Gosh, she's such a beautiful baby"

-"Do you think you'll want another baby?" Meredith asked

-"Actually, I think I do" I smiled

-"Please don't hurt her Arizona" Meredith was obviously talking about Amelia

-"I love her Meredith I really do, Yes I did a stupid mistake but I really think it's different, SHE is different. I'm older now and I learned from my mistakes" Meredith smiled and I can tell she believed me, Ellis started crying, she was hungry so I gave her back to Meredith.

Amelia's POV:
Arizona and I was ready and left to the restaurant.
We had so much fun and then she asked me the question I was ready for since Christopher died

-"Do you think you want kids?"

-"No I don't"

-"Why not?"

-"I had a baby and he died. When I was a drug addict I met a guy he was very cute and we took drugs together, he even asked me to marry him and I was thrilled and we decided to get clean. But we also decided to have one more. When I woke up that morning he was dead beside me and I was devastated, then I found out I was pregnant but my baby had no brain. He was alive for 43 minutes until he died, he donated all of his organs, since he died I can't even think of having another baby" She just hugged me I start crying even though I hate crying around her

-"Oh I get it, it's okay. I have Sofia and all I need is you and her and that's it." she kissed me, gosh I love her. Maybe I do ready for having a little Arizona running around.

I'm so sorry it took me so long! I'm writing another story about the reader and Lexie.
