Karly~

Later that day we sat in a large white room full of blinding lights from machines and computers.

"Mom?!" Corey and I echoed quietly. Both of our moms sat on the floor bound to a pole by rope with duct-tape over their mouths. My mom looked at me with tears flooding her eyes with her head on Mrs. Kristyn's shoulder. When I looked at them, it made me think they had been best friends forever, but now wasn't the time to think about that. I had to do something to stop them from doing whatever they wanted to us! Then, I saw a new face. It was Selena's mom! The two parents seemed to be clinging to Corey's mother for support and protection.

"What are they doing here?!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. The person holding my hands behind my back began to twist my arms into a painful position.

"Don't act like you don't know!" this voice sounded familiar to me, "You're all here because you all have something I want!" The deep voiced stranger came out from the shadows and revealed his face, "I want your sixth sense! I was so jealous of my pathetic wife and her ability to know things I didn't, that I divorsed her and said I was dead!"

"But why, Dad?!" I choked out and couldn't keep the tears from falling, "It's an awful ability! It's more of a curse than what you make it seem to be!"

What did you dream earlier?! Corey asked through thought.

I saw my dad "rising from the grave" and coming to attack me... I had come to a realization; the dream, was real.

Kristyn (me)~

With Selma to my left and Katelyn to my right, they were both relying on me to get them out of this mess. My poor son stood before me with the same hopeful look as my childhood friends. I didn't know what to do, Selma's husband was crazy! He wanted to figure out how the sixth sense works and how he could take it from the children, my friends, and I. This sense is powerful and comes naturally with birth; you can't suck it out of a person! Ugh, this was all my fault! I just had to leave my son home without his siblings! If I had stayed at home with him, I would kick their butts before they entered my home to harm my family! I always blamed myself for everything that happened to my friends and family because I always knew it was going to happen.

That's not true, Mom. When you left home for work, you actually helped! I gained responsibility and financial abilities from your absence! Remember what you always used to tell me? The bible says that all things work together for good! I giggled knowing that was my son. He always lifted people's spirits at the right time. I smiled as I remembered that I was extremely powerful and strong; no pickle jar was ever able to stop this mom! My arms twisted around in the rope to get the perfect grip to tear the it off of our wrists while Selma's husband kept going on and on about his evil schemes like Dr. Doofenschmirtz from an old cartoon I used to watch with my kiddos. I quietly ripped the rope little by little in hopes my friends wouldn't get rope burns. Once we were free, I stood up and ripped the duct-tape off of my mouth.

"Yoo-hoo! Over here!" I called. I looked back at Katelyn and gave her a nod, signalling her to run around for attention then I pulled Selma to my side and she got ready to claw her victom with her tiger-like fingernails.

Before you know it, I was strangling the fat, sweaty men with the rope I tore from my arms and throwing 251 pound guys to their knees by pressure points. Selma was clawing at the man keeping Karly, her daughter, hostage, but that didn't work very well and I wound up having to round-house kick his jaw to knock him out momentarily. Katelyn was busy looking around the room while I was mixing things up Jackie Chan style and she found a way out. Or did she...?

When she opened the door, she saw a closet full of shoe boxes. She dug underneath the pile of messy cardboard and she came across another piece of rope. Pulling at it curiously, what she found was not at all to her liking.

"Oh my gosh!" She choked out nearly vomiting at the sight of a dead body that appeared to be slightly skinned alive, "Selena?!" The dead body... was her daughter.
