Eddie sipped his drink as he walked past the kissing bridge. To his surprise there was already someone there. He couldn't make out the figure but by the looks of it the person was skinny, tall, and....
"Richie??"
Richie Tozier dropped his knife and stood up abruptly to face Eddie Kaspbrak.
"Eds my man!" he chuckled nervously as Eddie stepped closer. "How have you been?"
"Why are you ghosting me?" Eddie whispered as he looked up at Richie with curious eyes. Richie's breath caught in his throat from the sight.
"I-I uh..." Richie cleared his throat. "I've just been busy... writing songs and stuff. I've gotta preform a show next week". Eddie nodded and looked past Richie and at the bridge.
"What were you doing here?" he asked. Richie immediately started to panic.
"Carving your mom and I's initials!" he yelled out. Eddie raised his eyebrows and shrugged.
"That's gross Rich" he groaned and stepped away from Richie who sighed in relief.
"Yeah I guess.."
"I should be going" Eddie murmured. "Maybe we can hang out this weekend for Halloween. All of us Losers could get together!"
"Yeah that sounds nice" Richie said with a grin. Eddie nodded and smiled back at him.
"I'll text the group chat tomorrow. See ya Rich!" he said and turned on his heels to walk away. Richie waved goodbye.
Once Eddie was out of earshot he turned around to face the carving and sighed deeply.
