Hagrid wakes up early this morning. He gets up because Y/N was about to leave and head to Hogwarts, and she hadn't packed yet. So he decides that he should go and wake Y/N up so he can tell her to pack. He goes on to walk to her room and knock on the door.
He hears her slowly get out of bed and open the door. "Is something wrong?"
"Yes, you need to pack, you're going to be gone for almost four months before you can come back for break." Hagrid said.
"Oh! you're right!." Y/N said as she closed the door.
Hagrid can hear her going around the room grabbing things. He heads downstairs to get a glass of water. When he walks into the kitchen, he finds Y/N's mother looking out the window. She looks worried and apprehensive.
"She'll be okay, I'll make sure of it." Hagrid comforted her.
"But what if she's not, she's only thirteen."
"She may only be thirteen, but she is so much more than that. I can tell she's a lot like you."
"Thank you Hagrid." She thanked him.
After that they go to the kitchen table. Everyone sits down and eats food. They sit in a bit of silence, but there is small talk between to silence.
Eventually, Hagrid looks down at his watch. "Oh, we should get going now."
Y/N was confused. "I thought the train isn't till ten."
"That's true, but we need to go to Diagon Alley first to get you all of your supplies."
"Oh, ok then let's go." She said
The four of them got up and walked towards the exit. The mother and father began to say their goodbyes.
The father spoke. "Ok, well I guess this i-"
He began to tear up.
"Oh, Dad." Y/n said as she hugged him.
The hug lasted for a long time before Y/N backed away and looked at her mom.
Her mother left her one last piece of advise. "You are a beautiful girl, with a brilliant mind. Never forget or lose who you are because of other people."
The two of them hug while crying until Y/N let's go and speaks. "I love you so much. Remember, I'll be back in December and I will always write."
After saying their last goodbyes, Y/N and Hagrid head towards the bus stop.
As the two arrive in London, Y/N feels nervous to meet other kids like her. She knows that no one else has the same experience that she does.
"Okay, so we need to get to the Leaky Cauldron which is a few blocks away. Let's go, we don't have much time," Hagrid rushes.
They make it to the Leaky Cauldron and head to the back alley. People say hi to Hagrid, but he doesn't have time.
When they get to the back alley, Y/N is very confused. "Umm Hagrid, there is nothing magic about this."
"Don't judge a book by it's cover Y/N." He says as he taps to bricks.
The bricks begin to rearrange, exposing the fast pace of Diagon Alley.
"Bloody Brilliant." Y/N says in amazement.
The two of them walk through Diagon Alley as Y/N asks a question. "Where do we start?"
"We'll start with the books and your uniform, then we'll end at Ollivander's Wand Shop. Your wand is the most important and essential thing you'll need." Hagrid said,
