The next day was a hard one- For both of you. You were avoiding him like the plague (even more so than usual) and Tim was... well he was let's say trying. He tried explaining to you a few times yesterday that his intentions weren't  insidious but then again he knew no woman would trust his words when he kidnapped them. If only he could get you to understand. Understand why he had to take you and why he was so impulsive and inconsiderate and so selfish sometimes.

He'd been smoking like a chimney since then and he couldn't get himself to take a break. You still hadn't come down for breakfast and it was nearing noon at this point. He stared out towards the woods, scuffing a rut into the fallen leaves more and more with his boots. You hadn't even left your room since yesterday. But he knew you'd have to come out eventually... or so he thought.

Maybe it would've been better if he'd just admitted he was wrong instead of making excuses. But he was an egotistical son of a bitch sometimes and he knew it.

"Fucking stupid.." he muttered under his breath before flicking the butt of his cig to be crushed from his boots below. He glanced over to your bedroom windows and saw nothing. He thought maybe it'd be more enticing for you to come out of your enclosure if he'd left the door unlocked for you but maybe it was fear that was still ruling you.

He didn't know but whatever it was it was pissing him off. With a sharp turn he walked into the front door, rounding the way to head up the stairs and finally get this over with when he stopped in his tracks.

You sat on the floor in the living room area where a small patch of sun was, staring out the window at the woods surrounding the home. You were wearing the shirt and pants he'd given you yesterday.

At the sound of the door closing, you turned your head sharply and once you caught sight of him, you immediately stood. "I'm sorry-" you said it so quietly he almost didn't catch it. You started for the stairs when he suddenly spoke. "No. Stay." It came out sounding so demanding that he even took himself off guard.

You stopped dead in your tracks before looking at him briefly. But that mask made you too nervous to continue the gaze. So you just stood there, awkward and silent as he then pointed towards the sofa.

"Go. Sit... I want to talk to you." You had already heard this sentence a few times the day prior so you already knew what it was about. "I don't want to talk about it again..." you said quietly. "I haven't told you everything." He interrupted. You stared in silence, waiting for him to continue. "Just... sit down for a moment, please." You we're surprised to hear him use that word, please. It didn't seem like he was the type of person to use it. And he wasn't, but for you it was far more different.

So you did just that, slowly and hesitantly walking to the sofa and sitting down. He followed, leaning on the wall across from you. The sofa was warm from the sunlight leaking onto it. You glanced at it briefly, noting it's very 70's corduroy brown upholstery when he began.

"Listen, I'm not good with this kind of stuff." This was in fact, nothing new to you as he'd already told you this many times. It was like a way for him to start off a hard conversation, an ice breaker But you said nothing, merely waited for more. "I sometimes... I can act on impulse I suppose a lot ..." His body language was strange. He actually looked uncomfortable. It was weird to see him act so human in front of you, unknown to you aside from the small laugh he'd given you days ago.

"I do stupid shit a lot but that was one of the worst ones and ... I fucked up." He wasn't looking at you but you were looking at him. This was still not any new information like he'd promised.

"Listen I'm going to be honest with you okay?" He asked like he was asking for permission from you but you just continued to stare at him with a blank face. Waiting.
