AISLINS POV:

After school i walked to the front of the school to meet Tavin as slowly as possible. "Grayson and his stupid mouth!" I grumbled under my breath as i walked through the deserted math wing.

"Did i hear my name?" I whipped around to see Grayson leaving the boys bathroom with a cocky smirk on his face.

"....No" I said curtly, turning around and starting to walk away. A hand grabbed my shoulder and i stiffened.

"Why do you always avoid me, Aislin?" Grayson mumbled in a seductive voice

"I... I dont." I whispered, I could feel his hot breath on the back of my neck and shivers ran down my spine. "Are you sure? 'Cause it sure seems that way." He said softly, taking my arm and turning me to face him. "Why are you doing this Grayson?" I asked cautiously looking at his puppy-like chocolate brown eyes. "Doing what?" He looked genuinely confused. "Being nice to me." He smirked at that "I'm not all bad, Ash baby." He murmured with a wicked glint in his eyes,

He wrapped his arms around me yanking me closer. I roll my eyes and pull away ignoring the exited fluttering of my heart beat from being this close to him. I turn and walk away. "Where you goin Ashy?" Grayson called grinning at me. Just before i turn the corner i stick up my middle finger in Graysons direction I can see the annoyance on his face before he storms off down the hall in the opposite direction.

TAVINS POV:

I anxiously waited for Aislin leaning against a pillar in front of the school, I had been waiting all day impatiently, and finally school was done. What has Aislin been hiding from me? I wonder to myself. Aislin had promised to tell me about her childhood after school because she didnt want anyone overhearing what she had to say. The rest of the day i had barely been able to concentrate on my classes because i was so anxious to know more about her. Aislin wasn't normally the type to share things about herself with people so i was honored that she was about to tell me about her past. I know it wasn't good but that was all i had managed to persuade her to tell me. I was so lost in thought that i didnt notice that someone was behind me until they cleared their throat, I turned around slowly to see Grayson standing with his hands in his pockets giving me a smirk and a condescending look. God what does Aislin like about him. I ask silently. Aislin hed been crushing on Grayson ever since i met her in grade 9 and it crushed her when he started dating Jacie her worst enemy. Ash would never choose you over him. I ignored my inner critic, I already knew Aislin only thought of me as a friend but a guy could still hope.

"So you have a thing for Aislin?"

"What makes you think that?" I ask, panic bubbling up inside me. How did he know?? Is it that obvious that i like her? I think to myself.

"I see the way you look at her."

I didn't know how to respond to that. "Thats none of your buisness." I say coldly glaring at him

"Im just curious. Do you like her? Or do you just want some action?"

I stared at him. Shocked. "I would never use Aislin like that." I said avoiding his first question. Grayson opened his mouth about to speak, when Aislin emerged from the double doors of the school and headed towards us with a confused expression on her face. Grayson looked at Aislin then back at me meaningfully then walked away and got into his black fancy sports car.

"What was that about?" Aislin asked curiously, watching Grayson as he drove away from the school.

"Nothing." I mumbled, glaring after the car. "Shall we go?" I ask, turning to her and smiling. "Yep lets go." She smiles back. We turn and start the short walk to my house, since i live four blocks away from Aislin.
