Evielyn's View.
As he pulled us into the blacked out SUV, I pulled a little making him tighten his grip on my waist.
"Please do not make this harder for me," he muttered shoving me into the backseat of the SUV before following right behind me and slamming the door closed.
"M-mr. B-black sir...you are sitting on my dress," I whimpered out, tugging at the soft fabric lightly signalling him to hop off.
"Oh my apologies," he muttered scooting over before pulling his phone out.
The whole ride back to his home was filled with awkward silence, there was a few times were Mr. Black had answered calls only for them to end up with him threatening *more like promising* to place every single one of their heads on a stake...his words not mine.
At the end of it we reached a lovely light mansion on a very large and secluded section.
"Your home is truely amazing Mr. Black," I uttered out as I step out of the car and onto the gravel driveway.
"Please, call me Gabriel," he grumbled before walking up the steps towards the front door.
I struggled to walk in the heels I was wearing especially since his driveway was made up of gravel, I took a step and my ankle gave way making me twist my ankle and fall to the ground.
Howling in pain Mr. Black spun around to look at me "get up," he growled.
Looking up at him, tears pricked at the edge of my eyes. I looked down at my hands that were now covered in blood, slowly and carefully I stood to my feet and limped the rest of the way.
As I neared the stairs, I limped upwards taking one step at a time before I reached the top and slipped my feet out of the ungodly death traps.
My feet were aching and the scraps and cuts in my palms as well as the pain in my ankle were killing me, I followed Mr. Black through the front door and into the kitchen.
"Gabriel? Sweetie is that you?" I heard the voice of a woman before she comes around the corner, she looked like a spitting image of Gabriel or should I say he looked like a spitting image of her "oh sweetie, how lovely of you to finally be home," she beamed pulling him into a tight embrace "your father is in his study, he will be down in a few for dinner," she gushed before wondering further into the kitchen.
I guess she didn't notice me behind Gabriel's tall frame, slowly I walked up to him and gently tugged at his suit sleeve, in a swift motion his arm lifted in front of him making fear course through my veins instantly causing me to go into defence mode.
I waited and waited and waited, after a few minutes I opened my eyes to see him staring at me in shock, my arms dropped to the side of my body as heat travelled to my cheeks turning them a dark shade of pink.
"Evi-Gabriel! My boy, you're finally home!" A loud voice boomed across the room making me jump in fright and instinctively jump behind Gabriel's tall frame.
"Father," Gabriel said, his answer was short and blunt.
"Oh come on now don't be that way, sit and talk with your old man! How was the ball, where is the pretty little thing," his words with full of venom and his face was pulled into a menacing grin as he pulled Gabriel to the table and sat him down.
I stood awkwardly behind Gabriel making him sigh as he stood to his feet once again and gently pulled the seat next to him out for me, I lowered myself into the chair and casted my glances downwards.
"Oh, well isn't she a sight to behold," his father remarked making me shift uncomfortably.
"Father," Gabriel warned giving his father a rather heated look.
"No, no, tell me about yourself darling," his face smug and the words falling out of his mouth sounds completely and utterly distasteful.
"I-im 19...i uh," I took a huge gulp that seemed to strain my throat "I attend lakeside prep, and I have a dog named Cyprus who is a Cano Corso," I whispered out, taking a lock of golden hair and began to play with it.
"Ah Lakeside Prep, only the best I see" he grinned sending an evil look towards Gabriel "And how would you rate your Physical appearance?" He questioned eyeing my cleavage before being his eyes back to my face with a nasty look in his eye.
"U-uh w-well-you don't have to answer to him," Gabriel reassured me sending his father a look that could kill the undead.
"Oh she most definitely does," his father chuckled, but before he continued Mrs. Black appeared with a roast and placed it in the middle of the table before setting up the rest of their dinner.
"And dinner is served," she beamed towards her husband that sent her an unimpressed look making her roll her eyes.
"Oh my, and who is this pretty one Gabriel?" His mother smiled at him, her eyes seem to glitter with happiness as she stared at the two of us "look at those amazing golden locks," she beamed "enough of that, come on dear! Eat up," she gushed out plopping down into her seat and dishing out my plate first.
The dinner was awkward, I could feel Gabriel's Father staring at me throughout the whole thing as I quietly ate my dinner.
"Father, would you stop!" Gabriel hissed out noticing my uncomfortable posture and nervous shuffling.
"I was only admiring," his father grinned "if on I had picked her out for myself," he fake pouted, this sent a shock wave through all of us, Mrs. Black looked down in sadness and his comment sent Gabriel into a frenzy after a few minutes.
"I have had enough of you!" Gabriel roared taking my hand in his and dragging us away from the table and up the staircase, he came to a halt as he unlocked the door dragging us into what seemed like his office.
My heart went into overdrive, as I remember the events of what happened in fathers office.
Arms circled me pulling me into a rock hard chest...but yet it was so warm and inviting "Shh, I've got you," was all I heard as I blacked out from the fear.
