Evielyn's view.
I walked into school, still nipping and biting at the cinnamon bun I had just brought.
The way it just melted in my mouth put me in a tranced, I wasn't even watching were I was going.
"Evie! Look out!" I heard my best friend shout before I'm pushed out of the way "Jesus Evie!" She shouted slapping my arm "you could have gotten yourself killed women! What is wrong with you!" She hissed helping me to my feet, I dusted myself off and looked to were my now mushed bun was.
Tears pricked at my eyes as I just stared at it "my bun," I whimpered in sadness "I spent $3.21 on that" I hummed.
"Oh shut up I'll get you another one just be careful dammit," Melissa grumble dusting the leafs that had attached themselves to my jersey.
I stared at the car that had just zoomed past and nearly killed me, only to see my one and only lovely big sister Clarity hop out with a smug look.
"I swear...some day god is going to had that bitch karma like no other," Melissa mutter before pulling at my arm "come on Evie," she whispered pulling me away from my sister and my mushed cinnamon bun.
As we continue walking, I grabbed my bag and pulled out my second cinnamon bun "Really? You were going to cry over the mashed Cinnamon bun on the side walk when you had another in your bag!?" Melissa said, clearly shocked at why I nearly had a meltdown.
I shove the cinnamon bun into my mouth and gave her the best smile I could "you are lucky, you're my best friend and cute or I would've punched you in the head for being so stupid," she grumbled with a huff.
Melissa has been my friend since preschool, and her family belonged to my family mafia. The Knights.
Her father was my fathers second, but unlike my father...hers showered her the love only I could ever dream of.
She has black inky hair that landed just above her shoulder blades, a slim figure with a soft round face, vibrant green eyes and the most pinkest lips I had ever seen. She was my polar opposite.
We reached our lockers in no time and run over our schedules together.
"Right, so AP Biology, P.E, AP Chemistry, Homeroom, Italian, P.E again, and then AP English. I can work with that," Melissa grinned turning to me as I scruff down the rest of the cinnamon bun.
I give her a thumbs up as a signal, just as I'm about to retract my hand from my locked someone slams it shut right onto the knuckles of my hand.
Giving a muffled scream, Melissa turns to the culprit and pounces on them throwing left, right, left, right before she's pulled off by my brother.
"Clarity! What the hell is wrong with you!" My elder brother roars as he glared down at her.
"Oh Shut up Marcus! You are always helping this little freak over your own sister! Your twin sister!" Clarity boomed making our peers take a step back "That's not the fucking point Clarity! She's our little sister too, I don't understand why you hate her so much!" Marcus voice just continues to grow louder as he takes steps towards Clarity.
"Ugh! Forget it Marcus, you're a loser too! Both of you can go to hell!" Clarity screamed before marching off with her little pink barbies following behind her.
Marcus came up to me and slipped an arm under mine, lifting me up off the floor "are you okay princess?" He asked worries clear in his eyes, I give him a soft nod taking my arm off from his shoulder and inspected my hand.
The bruising was starting to come through very quickly, and I feared what I'd tell my father when I got home...not that he'd care.

Hours had past and we were in our last class of the day "Alright class, please turn to page 259," Mrs. Carter asked, she was my favourite teacher of them all. She showed me kindness and in return I spent most of my lunch in her class helping her with whatever she needed.
We were reading a book, we had to write a report about it after we had finished and I couldn't wait to finish off my report.
I sat with my hand up as Mrs. Carter asked a question "Yes Ms.-Ms. Knight please report to the principals off immediately, thank you." The sound of the office lady's voice rings over the speakers.
"Ms. Knight you are excused," Mrs. Carter smiles at me, I pick up my bag and rush towards my locker hoping for the best but only negative thoughts coming to mind.
Is it mother?
Did father find out about this morning with Clarity?
Grabbing my things from the locker I scurried towards the office which was fortunately a few lockers away from mine.
I rush into the office and the lady at the reception desk points me towards the principals office, I gulp before heading towards the door and knocking lightly.
"Mrs. Heather?" I called out getting a small answer to enter.
I walk in to see my father and mother seated in front of the principals desk "How can I help?" I whispered out in fear "You are heading home with your parents, we will see you tomorrow Ms. Knight," Mrs. Heather smiled.
I gave her a small smile hoping she could see the fear in my eyes...only my father blocked my view with a menace look in his eyes.
"Let's go," his gruff voice sounded making me whimper in obedience.
I followed my father and now ready mother towards the entrance of the school and out towards the sleek black SUV that was waiting.
Dear lord please save me from the unforeseen ride home....
