Candie and Jeff lay in his bed, satisfied after a steaming helping of sex to get Candie through the next few weeks. Candie snuggled into Jeff’s side, her head on his shoulder with the blanket wrapped tightly around her body. Jeff stared at the ceiling with his arm wrapped around Candie, the other hanging off the edge of the bed as he held a half drank bottle of liquor from his secret stash. He didn’t seem to care about covering up as the blanket only loosely covered his junk from anyone who’d happen to walk in. Candie sighed happily as she stretched, getting Jeff’s attention.

“So,” She looked up at him, “now that that’s out of the way. It’s time for a little Q&A.” She brushed her hair out of her face with a hand as she readjusted herself to sit up on her elbows.

“Excuse me?” Jeff looked down at her, raising a brow.

“Well, you can’t possibly expect me to stay here if I don’t know anything about my surroundings.” Candie rolled her eyes.

“Actually, I did.” He shrugged, gulping back more liquor and biting back the burn.

“No. I need to know what and who I’m dealing with.” She looked him in the eye, deadly serious. Jeff sighed and chugged the last bit before tossing the empty bottle into a corner.

“Fine. Shoot.” He folded his arms behind his head, looking at her boredly.

“Okay. First off: my new housemates. I wanna know more about them.” Candie tilted her head.

“Them? Uh…” Jeff trailed off, thinking. “Well. BEN is a ghost from a haunted Legend of Zelda game. Majora’s Mask, I think. He’s supposed to be Link.”

“How’d he die?” She asked, though Jeff looked at her incredulously. Did… Did she really just ask him that?

“Think about his name, girl. ‘BEN Drowned’...? Drowned…?” Jeff emphasized the boy’s surname. Candie only blinked, waiting for him to go on.

“He DROWNED, Candie. He couldn’t swim and he drowned. Some dipshits pushed him in a pool.” Jeff sighed.

“Aww. That poor kid.” She sighed.

“Kid?” Jeff asked.

“Yeah, kid. He’s like 11 or something around there, right?” Candie rose a brow, thinking about BEN’s height and cute baby face. Jeff couldn’t hold back his laughter at her confusion. He wiped an invisible tear away as he calmed down and stopped laughing.

“Oh. You’re serious.” She glared at him. “Dude. He’s the ghost of a 12-year-old, he just looks like that. He’s almost the same age as me.” Jeff explained.

“Oh…” She trailed off, looking off into the distance. “What about E.J.?”

“Uh… him? Yeah, nobody really knows. Well, except for Slendy, of course. We just accept him as an asshole and leave it at that.” Jeff shrugged, laying back to stare at the ceiling again.

“Hm.” Candie hummed. “And L.J.?”

“A monochromatic clown that haunts children with my insanity levels.” Jeff answered after some thought. “Rumor has it he used to be rainbow colored. I think that’s code for ‘he’s a raging fag’.” He rolled his eyes and Candie smacked him in the chest, leaving a red handprint on his leathery white skin.

“Don't say that! Homosexuals are probably the nicest people ever. Have you ever been to a gay bar? Those people can party.” Candie smiled as she thought back to a time when she disguised herself as a young guy to get away from a demon that was chasing her.
