"Okay, succubus. It's time we take a crash course on fighting skills." Jeff smiled smugly at the demon standing before him, who was yawning rather obnoxiously. They stood in the field behind the house with an audience of all the Creepypasta who lived there and Monica. Candie had been going through a series of dark magic training sessions with the older demon, and was now going over combat with Jeff and Slenderman. Monica and Slenderman stood side by side in front of the small audience, watching over the sparring to make sure no real damage was done to either of the fighters.

"Now, Candie," Monica called to her sister, "you have to learn how to balance your use of your inner demon and your own strength."

"I can't use that, Em. She'll over power me," Candie called back, looking at her sister with concern.

"You have to learn to control it." Monica called back with a small sigh. "There's literally no other way."

"... Fine. But, don't be mad when I go crazy." Candie responded hesitantly. She willed her demonoid form, letting her horns, claws and tail come out, and lowered into a fighting stance.

"I'm ready when you are," She told Jeff as he mimicked her stance. He chuckled lowly then lunged for her. She dodged easily, moving lightly on her feet, and slashed at Jeff's side. He moved quick, spinning to throw himself out of the way, and was attacking before she had a chance to ready herself.

Slendy and Monica both made mental notes on Candie's movements, watching how the younger demon danced clumsily around the murderer; it was like watching choreographed chaos. Monica felt a change in her surroundings, a skill she picked up as she grew older, and looked to see that the Slenderman was now her height.

"What is it, netherdemon?" She asked in a monotone.

"I could not help but notice, but you do not seem to have a demonic counterpart." Monica jolted a bit from the invasion of her mind, but got used to Slenderman's voice reverberating around her head.

"I don't see how any of that is your business," She scoffed harshly.

"Well, it is only fair I know who - or what - I am working with." Slender's head tilted slightly, as if he were glancing at her. With a reluctant sigh, Monica spoke briefly with herself, reminding herself why she had to put up with this, then took her eyes off the spar to answer the demon.

"Candie wasn't born a demon, she was turned. However, as far as she knows, she shares the same mother as me and my sister. And I'd like to keep it that way." Monica explained.

"You would hide Candie's past from her?" Slender questioned.

"It's safer that way," Monica stated, not intending to explain anything to the demon.

"Interesting," Slender hummed before there was a loud crack that echoed throughout the area. Both Monica and Slender to see Candie lowering her foot from her kick. A few feet away, Jeff was falling from a splintering dent in an oak, blood leaking down his face. Upon a closer look, a blue glow was noticeable in Candie's eyes.

"She did it," Monica gasped quietly. The others were in a stunned silence. "She balanced her power to a more controlled state." A proud smile began to slowly form on her face.

"Now, that," Jeff chuckled, getting to his feet and wiping the blood off his face, "Is what I like to see." Without any warning, he threw his blade at the girl, which she caught inches from her face. The corner of Jeff's lips twitched with a smirk.

"Candie," Slender called. Before turning to face him, She threw the blade back at Jeff, which missed him by a hair and planted itself into the tree he was smashed into.
