"get out! you want to disobey my rules! then you can leave too. who else wants to go!" i looked at my mom, she turned away. i looked at my brother and he looked down. no one? no fucking one?! i finally look at my dad. we stare.. and stare. "you are nothing but a disappointment." my dad said. i turned and grabbed my things and left. no matter what i wanted to say it just wouldn't come out. all the things i wanted to yell just wouldn't come out.

"miss?" huh? "would you like a drink?" the lady asked. "i'm fine. thanks" i said coldly, plugging in my headphones waiting for this damn flight to end. after the very, very, long flight i finally made it to ... not technically hell but something like that. "are you Nabi?" a tall old man with the worst comb over i've ever seen, questioned me "yeah?" i replied. "you're dad sent me here to watch over you." the man said as i nodded following him out of the airport. he took my bags, placing them in the trunk of the car. then he opened the car door for me.

i don't wanna speak to anyone who doesn't need to hear me. it was pointless to talk to one of my dads money beggars god i hated my dad.
"what's your name?" i asked bluntly, still not looking at him. "you can call me mr.choi." he said with his hands on the wheel, driving to wherever. "nice" i said the continued listening to the music the blared into my ears.

after the long ride we finally made it to my apartment. "it's all yours..." he said making me smile slightly looking at the huge area. "damn.." i walked around the apartment to the kitchen, living room, my room, bathroom, and so on. "thank you" i said to the man as he just smiled and nodded "it's no biggie, i'm here to assist you. i left my number on the table for you to call if needed." he said with one last smile before leaving.

"he's cool." i sighed, tossing myself on the small pink couch. my eyes looked around at the already furnished house as my mind began thinking about tomorrow. i don't know if i was excited? or if i was sad. i stood up and grabbed my bags, starting to unpack. tomorrow is when i go to the most well known richest college in seoul, though that left me unfazed. after all it was just stuck up kids who think they can do what ever they want whenever they want. not to be hypocritical.

i spent the rest of my day drained from jet lag in my bed. the next morning i got up super early and took a shower, did my makeup, and my hair. i wanted to at least be presentable for my first day. i grabbed the nearest bag inside my closet before pulling out my phone to call mr choi.
"hello? i need you to drive me to class" i said playing with my hair as i slipped on my shoes. he agreed quickly making a smile grow on my face.

once i got in the car mr choi spoke "i hope you have a good day" i nodded in thanks, grabbing my bag as i slipped in a airpod. once i made it to the very large school i walked into the office area.
"um excuse me.." i spoke to the lady at the desk "i transferred from —— college in new york.. my name is lee nabi." i stated, she raised a eyebrow like she was expecting me. the loud typing made my ears hurt can she hurry up. "here you go"

i then started walking in the very large halls with all eyes on me. fuck me. my eyes traced around the halls, watching everybody stare at me completely foreign. i get that people don't usually transfer to here in the middle of a semester but did i have to be glared at? while walking i noticed a large group of dudes that looked like they just came out of a movie. he looks familiar... i thought to myself, walking myself into the room number 127 where my first class began.

"uh excuse me?" i asked the professor standing in the door way. "welcome, youre nabi right? pleased to meet you sweetheart" creepy.. i thought to myself, awkwardly jogging away.
i gave a weird smile back "feel free to sit wherever." his facial expressions immediately changed, turning serious in a second.

i suddenly felt books being placed next to mines. "you're new right?" she said and i nodded. "i'm Cha Eunji.. but people just call me eun" she said making me smile. she seems so cool "i'm nabi" i answered politely, moving my stuff over, giving her space. "omg! your name!!" i nodded, she just continued to make me smile. "it's so cute, it really matches you" she said making my cheeks light up, how can someone be so sweet.

as everyone sat in the class room the teacher began to speak. "good morning everybody, today you might see some new faces. please be welcoming to newcomers"

soon after, he began to teach the lesson.
after classe ended i looked at eunji, rubbing my eyes from exhaustion. "is it like this everyday?" i groaned, already missing my bed at home."um... sort of but we end up having fun." she spoke. "oh! that's right. nabi.. wanna go shopping later?"she asked with excitement, how could i turn her down? i was never allowed to do this back at home so why not? "sure, what time?" i questioned, looking over at her."around 5 maybe... i'll talk later, i have to get to my next class! see you later."

"fuck.. watch where-"
"hey? can you not hear dumbass?" i try my best to block out outside noise, it's become a habit since i lived in new york. "hey? hola?" a male said to me making me look at him funny. i turn around, looking him up and down. "uhm can i help you?" his face looked almost shocked like i said the wrong thing. he looked really upset "then this is wasting my time." i said before turning my heel and putting my airpods back in my ears. what was wrong with that motherfucker.

"new girl?"
