Max POV
The Taxi honks for the 3rd time at us while the driver calls out "Are we leaving or what?!" I sigh "just a minute!" I call back as I sigh heavily against Helen's forehead as she starts to pull back "I don't want to leave you" she squeezes my hands that are resting between our chests "I know Max but this is the right decision...for both of us" I feel frustration boil up in me "I don't want to fight for them! I want to fight for you! For our family Helen because weather you view us as a family or not I do!! Your my family Helen!!" I breathe heavily as tears prickle at my eyes, Helen leans up to kiss my lips softly barley even there before speaking again "Your my family Max, you and Luna,I'm trying to let you in but it's just difficult....but Max I promise you won't lose me" I sigh as I wrap my arms round her neck and hold her tight  as I feel tears leave my eyes and by the wetness that is seeping through my shirt I know she's crying too. The taxi honks again which forces us apart, I give her hand one last last squeeze "Call me when you land, I mean it Helen I need to know your safe, I then will face time with Luna everyday  as I know Luna will be missing her Mum" she gives me a small smile and nods slightly before getting into the taxi, I hold onto my luggage as I watch the taxi get further and further away. I take out my phone to call Gwen and Calvin to update them, I'm sure they will be delighted to have Luna a while longer.

Helen POV
I find my seat and settle down for the 6hr flight, I look at my phone and find a text from Max

"*My plans only work because of you, so I hope your not expecting anything amazing...but I will make you proud even if it kills me. Have a safe flight beautiful, I love you x*"

I smile as I type out a quick reply

*"I would preferably like you alive when you come home to me, planes about to lift off will call you when I land, I love you too x*"

I stare at my phone for a while before switching it off and pocketing it, the elderly lady sat in what was supposed to be Max's seat smiles softly at me "anyone important dear" she asks and I nod "The man I'm see"....I stop myself, I need to stop minimising what Max and Luna are to me just because of my own fears, it's not fair on them and it's not fair on myself so I smile softly at the women and begin again "Yeah my partner, he and our daughter are staying in New York for a little while to take care of some business while I go home and work" the lady gives me a look of sympathy before replying "Must be hard to be apart from them but I'm sure you will be together again soon" she smiles softly and squeezes my hand I squeezes back but feel the tears falling down my face, the lady quickly hushes me and hands me her pocket hankie "oh my dear it's okay, have you got a photo of your partner and your daughter? What are their names? Tell me about them" I know she's trying to distract me so I use the hankie to dry my tears and let out a chuckle as I open my purse and dish out a photograph that Max, Luna and myself took at a photo booth and hand it to the lady "This is Max and this is Luna" the lady smiles at the photo but I suddenly feel very nervous as I see her studying Luna "uh she's not my...she's Max's but she is..." the lady covers my hand with hers "She's your daughter no matter how she became to be she's yours and you are hers" I smile gratefully through tearful eyes "I'm Helen by the way" the lady smiles as she gives me back the photo "I'm Elizabeth, nice to meet you now how did you meet Max?" "Oh at work he was my boss and my patient" I reply, Elizabeth's eyes go wide "oh girl this is a story I need to hear" we both laugh while I proceed to tell her the story of how Max stole my heart and how I've never been more happier but also afraid in my whole life...

Max POV
Luna is going to stay with Gwen and Calvin for a bit longer so I have time to try and figure out where I will be staying for now I need to go and find the others and update them. I walk back into the Dam and see Iggy who looks utterly defeated, "Ig?!" I call he sees me and looks surprised "Max? I thought you had to go?" I shrug "don't worry about that, what happened? How was the meeting? How can I help?" Ig looks at me and sighs "It's over Max, she's pretty much fired bloom, she's blackmailing Wilder to stay and Reynolds was her rat, we can't and won't fight anymore Max it's over now go back to London" and with that he goes to leave but I tug on his arm "what do you mean Floyd was her Rat?!" Iggy just shakes his head and tries to leave yet again but I then see Bloom walking towards us she looks completely broken and behind her was Floyd. Before I even knew what I was doing I sprinted to Floyd and grabbed him by his coat collar "What do you think your doing?!" I growl Lauren and Iggy just watched as Floyd tries to push me away "it's not your fight Max so it's none of your business" I grab him harder and have him up against the wall, "Ig call security"! Floyd shouts out but Iggy just folds his arms and continues to watch and just then Wilder and James appears I turn my focus back to Floyd "It is my bloody business! Because Helen has gone back to London and won't let me return until I have sorted this fucking mess, a mess you are making so much worse by being a Rat! This isn't you Floyd! I know your pissed at me I know your all pissed at me" I turn my attention at the others while still holding Floyd in place, they just watch me "I have given you all 3yrs, sacrificing everything I had for you and this hospital including my health, Helen as well and the one time we choose ourselves it all turns into shit! Well not anymore! We are going to fight and we are going to win do you hear me I roar!
