Chapter 3: on the run

June

June grinned at her accomplish. She had her nice bag stocked with goods that would help with her new project, she walked through the streets of the undercity as she tried to act casual. Ekko always warned her to be aware of her surroundings especially the busy parts...that's where people get Shimmer or get caught with deals and trafficking.

Junes eyes lingered at the whore house building she passed. she's only been there once and it was when Ekko needed to talk to someone about business, other than that she's never been back, and she didn't really want to but at the same time some part of her was a little curious.

She shook her head her face becoming a little pink, embarrassed by her dirty thoughts .

She looked down at the ground her steps quickening, all of a sudden she felt someone grab her and covering her mouth.
She screamed but her cries were muffled and whoever was attacking her was much bigger as she tried to kick and turn.
A large hand covered her eyes,
"Quiet" hisses a female voice.

Junes  heart raced, she was freaking out, who just abducted her and where was she going. She would've kept fighting but decided to stay still so she didn't get herself hurt.
She could hear muffled voices and doors opening.
She tried to listen more but it was all too muffled as she assumed the person put some sort of a bag over her head.

She was flung to the ground her body ached in pain, "what the fuck" she muttered as she tried to get herself back up.
"Oh you found another one?" A man's voice grumbled.
"She's small but I think she'll be good enough."
"Take off the stupid sack I want to see her face."
June held her breath as she felt the rough hands tear the cloth.
The light blinded her eyes she could only see spots around her.

"Not bad" said the man.
June looked up and squinted, a tall large bald man hunched over looked down at her.
"You think she can please them?" Asked the woman. She wore a white mask with large purple circular cheeks and a weird expressionless face.

"Who the fuck are you?" June snapped her eyes darting back to the two people.
"None of your--" the woman started.
"We saw you eyeing this place and assumed you'd like a job here..." another man voice entered, he was tall and skinny he wore a robe and held a long cigar m.

June eyes widened as she noticed they were all wearing little clothing, "YOU WANT ME TO WORK AS A WHORE!" She couldn't believe it,  the one time she comes down to the undercity she actually get kidnapped.

"Let's just saw we've been understaffed recently and more people want to be satisfied, now follow us and you won't get hurt." Hissed the woman as she grabbed Junes arms forcing her to get up.
June stared at the three people,
She decided to do what they say and see how she could escape from these psychos.

The four of them entered through a door and as if they went through a portal the whole atmosphere was different. The tall man nodded his head and walked the opposite direction.

June only remembered a little about this place since it's been about three years but she didn't remember it being very Smokey, slow, and warm. She passed small rooms and she couldn't help but stare as three women were all over each other their legs, arms, hair draped like curtains.
She felt the woman behind her shove her back sharply with her fingers, "never seen people make out?"
June glared at her and looked away abruptly.
Just as they turned the corner a bunch of half naked men and woman came rushing in all giggling.

June narrowed her eyes and quickly using this as her advantage she kicked the woman behind her straight in the stomach while turning around and kneeing the man in his balls.
They both groaned in pain as she quickly ran off between the crowds of people.
June ran as fast as she could her arms and legs moving rapidly. As June was running for her life she slammed into two people.
"Ouch!" A woman with a British accent yelled.
June's whole body froze, fuck, she thought as she saw who were in front of her.

"You!" The pink haired woman yelled grabbing Junes arm so she couldn't run off.
"Aren't you the girl who ran away earlier?" The enforcer asked.
Junes whole body became cold and she felt anger stir inside her body, "what is an enforcer like you doing down here." June sneered glaring at the tall woman.
She felt pinky's grip loosen.

"Excuse me! What did I do to make you people so angry! Also vi I will not be working--"
"You know what your problem is?" The girl Vi snapped back.
The enforcer rolled her eyes, "oh please tell me"
"Yea please do" muttered June.
Vi looked back at the two and then turned her body facing towards the tall woman, "you expect everyone to give you what you want...if you really want people to talk to you..." she started walking around both of them, "you have to let them think you have what they want."

The enforcer looked at Vi weirdly, "and what do I have?"
Vi just stared at the enforcer and there was a long pause as if she was debating what to say, "you're hot, cupcake" she whispered her voice becoming thick and seductive.

June backed away a little, she felt like she was intruding and even worse she felt jealous...she didn't even know these two!
"So what will it be? Man or woman?"
June laughed, "clearly women."

The two whipped their heads around and stared at June.
Just before either could respond
Vi looked past June and grabbed a random person who was walking towards them and shoved them towards her enforcer friend.
"Here do what i told u"
"What!"
"This is Matilda...but call her whateverrrr you'd like"
The enforcer and the random girl walked away leaving Vi and June alone in the hall.

June cleared her throat stuffing her hand in her pockets, "Oh so you don't swing that way?"
Vi stared at her again, "What the hell are you talking about"
Before June could even stop herself she said,
"I mean only gay people are this hot...Shit I didn't mean to say that out loud"
June wasn't sure was what more terrifying, getting abducted by random strangers or this.
Definitely this.

Vi's face turned beat red she looked way, "are you always this blunt?"
June felt sweat run down her neck, "I- sorry I wasn't um trying to flirt since I know that enforcer was probably your girlfriend--"
Vi scoffed,"pft she is not my girlfriend"
June raised her eye brows, she felt her body relaxed but before she could fully appreciate this news she saw from the corner of her eye the two strangers who she punched earlier.

"Shit!" She muttered
"HEY! GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE BITCH!"
June looked up at Vi's amused face, "sorry I um gotta run"

Without waiting for a response June started running again.
This time she found the entrance and even though she knew Ekko always told her to never fly her hoverboard without her mask in our kid areas, as she accelerated with speed she tossed her board up in the air and jumped up, tossing her body on top of it zooming up in the air.
She looked back to see the two people staring up at her cursing as she flew away.
