When I went to the hotel the next morning Tiger Lily was packing her things. I was shocked and I was trying to make her stay. I was pulling her hair and getting in her face. "I can't stay here." She told me. "He doesn't want me. He is with Wendy now so there is no reason anymore for me to stay." I couldn't believe this. We came all the way here for Peter. Tiger lily wasn't a quitter and I couldn't believe she was going to give up. I ordered her to stop but she would listen. "It's time to go home." She said. We were waiting there for the next ship to come by so we could go home. I was trying to tell her to stay a bunch of times but she wouldn't listen. We got on board the ship and hid in the back. The whole ride I could hear her thoughts. She didn't want to go back and face everyone staring and talking about her. She couldn't face MoonEye and PineSap. She couldn't face her old life.
