It's hard to believe, when things don't go your way,
It's hard to have faith, when things don't turn out great,
It's hard to stay positive on days that turn out gray,
It's easy to have doubt even though I pray,
Feelings get hurt when things don't go my way,
Thoughts of worthlessness creep in, to my dismay,
Am I good enough or smart enough, things I start to say,
Thoughts doubting myself trickle in and they begin to stay!
