Maddy woke up alone, she told Monty she needed time to think and he left in the early hours of the morning. She hadn't slept at all, all she kept thinking about was the tapes. She had messaged Jess last night to let her know she was here which the girl really appreciated.
"Madison!" she heard her mum yell from downstairs so she reluctantly got up, not making any effort with her appearance and grabbed her bag and a bottle of vodka she had stashed in her underwear drawer before heading downstairs.
"The police just handed me this" her mum spoke when Maddy arrived in the kitchen showing her a yellow envelope. Shit.
"Why are they calling you to testify? Did Hannah ever say anything to you about bullying or anything?" she questioned receiving a shrug in return "talk to me Madison what's going on? and are you okay? do you need the day off honey?"
"No I'm fine" Maddy replied mustering up all the energy she could to show a small smile before leaving and getting into her car.

Maddy was stood, drinking out of her vodka filled water bottle at her locker with Marcus and Courtney when Tyler approached them "did you guys get subpoenas too?" he asked.
"Don't know what you're talking about" Maddy drawled.
"Shhh. Shut up. Jesus Tyler" Marcus whispered.
"What? It's public record now. Everyone knows" he replied.
"Nobody knows about anything and your going to keep it that way" Marcus hissed.
"I want in on whatever you're doing. I know more than anyone, I know a lot more than what's on those tapes and I have proof" Tyler smugly informed.
"Proof of what?" Marcus asked.
"What do you think? What have you done around here you don't want anyone to know? I take a lot of pictures" he scoffed.
"Listen you creep, you do not want to fuck with us. What we did to Clay was nothing. Back off and keep quiet" Marcus threatened
"Just shut the fuck up Tyler" Maddy sighed boredly.
"Is that Maddy or her boyfriend speaking?" he spat.
When Monty saw Tyler talking to Maddy, especially after he told him to stay away from her he stormed over, Bryce trailing behind him and pushed him to the ground. Maddy normally would've stopped this but she didn't really give a fuck.
Monty went to grab on to Maddy's hand however Tyler got up and pushed her to the ground.
"What the fuck" Maddy snapped as Marcus helped her up.
