"Jess you good?" Maddy questioned her best friend who was looked to me almost in tears whilst changing into her cheer uniform.
Jess looked up with a lie on the tip of her tongue but shook her head "I'm worried Mads Justin won't speak to me, I don't even know where he is and Mr.Porter wants to see me and I'm like freaking out-"
Maddy walked over and gave her a hug as she could see her starting to get worked up. "Hey I'll help you look for him if he isn't at the rally okay? I'll kick his fucking ass" she consoled, attempting to calm her down which worked as she sent Maddy a thankful smile.
Maddy wouldn't admit as to not worry Jess even more but she was worried about Justin too. They were like brother and sister and she hated seeing him become so distant and detatched. As if she could fucking talk.
She shook her head and decided to just focus on the rally today. "Alright lets get out there show them how it's fucking done!" Maddy exclaimed earning cheers of agreement from the other cheerleaders before we all ran out the gym.
The crowd was loud as the girls came out in their uniforms and started their routine. Maddy was in the front and when she made eye contact with Monty who was looking at her lovingly, she gave him a huge smile and wink that made him slightly flushed, not that he would ever admit it.
She gets lifted into the air and that is when she notices Clay Jenson or more importantly the headphones around his neck. She freezes up slightly but plays it off and carries on remembering to bring it up to Jess and Zach. Not realizing he had noticed her stare.
The cheerleaders finished up and ran into their two seperate lines leaving a pathway between them for the basketball team. "Hey there Liberty tigers, it is an exciting day at Liberty High. Our varsity basketball team is kicking off its preseason today, the first step on the road to returning to state finals" Bolan spoke into the mic. "By liberty tradition I am happy to welcome to the podium the winner of this years captain award, to introduce the varsity squad Bryce Walker!" this gathered even louder cheers from the crowd.
Bryce makes his way up to the podium and shakes hands with Bolan, picking up the award and relishing in the exciting moment, "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This is such a big honour to be a liberty student athlete. GO TIGERS. Now, this years starting line up William Barkly".
Molly, one of the other cheerleaders runs forward in the pathway beginning to do a series of back handsprings, William jogging out onto the court after her as the crowd continues to go wild in the background.
When Zach's name is called Maddy runs forward and does a roundoff into a backflip, Zach behind her giving her a huge smile which she reacted by blowing a kiss back. Monty who was already annoyed about her having to cheer on Zach clenches his jaw when he notices their interaction.
"Justin Foley" is when Jess runs out to do a sloppy roundoff, she was clearly off her game and had a lot on her mind. As everyone keeps cheering waiting for Justin, it seems like he isn't going to turn up so Jess runs out of the gym to try save herself the embarrassment while Maddy watches by the sidelines worried.

"Mads hey you did so good baby and you look good in this outfit" Monty smirked cheekily while giving her a rough kiss on the lips "I wish you didn't have to be cheering on Dempsey though" he added bitterly spitting out Zach's last name and glaring at him from across the room
"You know I would rather it was you and Z is just a friend. I love you" she reassured him, kissing his jaw and linking their hands together, calming him down and earned a soft smile.
"Do you wanna do something tonight?" he mumbled hopefully whilst holding her close.
She took a deep breath looked up at him hesitantly, hoping this wasn't going to end badly "I'm sorry Mont I'm going to check on Justin I'm worried about him" when she seen his face starting to change she quickly added "but how about you pick me up after?" to which he nodded and gave her one last kiss before she ran off to find Zach and Marcus.
