After a long hard day at work, Capt. Maya Bishop decides to get a drink from Joe's bar across the road from the famous Grey-Sloan Memorial. She walks in and sits on one of the empty barstools, and just sighs in exhasperation of a really long and hard day at work. Suddenly, a woman sits next to her and orders a white wine from the bartender. The woman stares at her with a deep, curious gaze..
"You... look familiar." says the woman with slight hesitation.
"Oh. no I drink here a lot." says Maya with a slightly sad tone..
The woman did not think that was the answer, she was actually running through the day in her head, trying to figure out who this mystery woman was...
"Were you at the hospital earlier? I swear I saw someone like you..." says the woman.
Yes I was. I am a firefighter, I was ...... bringing something..." said Maya with a gentle smile.
She was reminded of the particular incidents that happened during the day....
The woman looked at her with genuine surprise and happiness.
"OH MY GOD! YES! You were the one who ran in with the nose!!" says the woman realising after the fact.
"Yes!" said Maya, with bewilderment about how the woman knew it was her.
"Capt. Maya Bishop." Maya announced with a big grin.
"Dr. Carina DeLuca." Said the woman with a radiant smile , offering to shake hands
Maya was looking at Carina with awe whilst shaking her warm hand and realising that she didn't have to be alone all her life.
She could find love after all...
