Station 19 - Maya and Carina's journey!

Chapter 6 - The reunion

Author's note: Hello guys! sorry I haven't posted a new chapter in such a while, I was ill for quite a long time and just couldn't do anything, but from now on I will post chapters every Tuesday and Thursday!! Hope you have a great week!  💕😊

Carina gets up out bed feeling motivated to pursue her love and bulid a family with her, so she went to the neuro ICU and saw that Maya was still asleep from the sedative.  She walked in and sat next her and started stroking her hair. She felt very worried and anxious for Maya, even though it was her job to run into burning buildings when everyone else tuns out of them. 

At that moment, Andy, Vic and Travis walk in.

A few hours before: 

"Hey Montogomery! Hughes! Want to come with me to visit Maya?" asked Andy

"Sure! I hope she's doing better, we really her wisdom around here! I wanted to ask her if there was anyway I could by a pet for the station " Joked Vic. 

"HA! Bishop would never agree to that! She would rather do 3 shifts worth of paperwork than deal with an animal that requires her undivided attention..." Chuckled Travis.

"Yeahh. But maybe we should like get a turtle or something you know? I heard that they live up to a hundered years. I don't think that even Maya would kill a pet that quick." replied Vic with a smirk across her face.

"Don't let Maya hear that you said that Vic.. You know what they say.. whatever you say in the past can come back to bite you in the present.." said Andy with wide eyes.. 

"Okay Lieutenant! Whatever you say.." answered Vic. 

"Can we go now? I asked my mom to make some of her famous spicy beef soup! I honestly think it has  healing properties! I want to give some to Maya. " Smiled Travis. 

"Awww man! I want to try some as well Trav! My mouth is watering just thinking about it." said Vic, with a fake frown. 

A few minutes later... 

"Excuse me, Do you know which room Maya Bishop is in?" Asked Andy.

"Yes she is in that room just behind you. But be careful, she suffered a pretty bad head injury, just make sure to be gentle" said the nurse. 

" Yes of course" Assured Travis. 

They walk into the room and see a woman stroking Maya's hair and sobbing quietly.... 

"Excuse me miss, Who are you and why are you stroking my best friend's hair?" questioned Andy with some anixety building.

"Oh. You must be Andy. My name is Dr. Carina DeLuca. I am your best friend's girlfriend. Did she not tell you about me?"

Andy, Vic and Travis stood there in shock and disbelief, wondering why their captain never told them this..
