"GET OFF ME! FUCKING GET OFF ME, YOU... you..."

"Hey, wait, you don't have t- and he's out. Jesus, guys, you didn't have to fucking sedate him again, ya know. I mean, did he deserve it? Sure. He broke whatever's still left of my brain. And I won't lie, I'm a bit offended. But he wasn't gonna hurt us or anything." The people in the hazmat suits just stood there, not saying anything, then shut the door and got in the front. Cursing, Steve leaned forward. "Do any of you actually speak?! Hello? Are you listening to me?!"

He huffed and lay down, giving up on knocking on the screen to piss them off after some seconds. Billy would have at least kept him company. He felt bored out of his mind, now, awkwardly scratching his chin as he spared one more glance at Billy. Then he stopped himself because that hadn't worked out so well the last time and he could only hope Billy wouldn't think he was gay or something like that. Not that it was bad, it would just be weird and he didn't want Billy treating him different because of the homophobia almost everyone on the goddamn planet seemed to have.

The train of thought led him to Robin who was the very epitome of gayness. She just really loved women. A lot more than Steve did, surprisingly, she just kept it more lowkey for obvious reasons. While they were in the makeshift hospital, he'd had to deal with her talking about how gorgeous Nancy was too many times to count. He just nodded on because he'd had sex with that same Nancy and it wasn't exactly a life-altering experience. She seemed to think so, though, and he had to drag her away sometimes when she would get all frozen up speaking to Nancy and mutter "boyfriend" on repeat into her ear as he did so.

Steve did love women, sure. They were literally incredible. I mean, Robin, for one, was a total badass and he'd had tried to get with her what felt like eons ago so that was proof enough. But at the same time, he figured everyone's attractive, guy or girl and there isn't that much more to it. Biting down on his lip, he groaned when he thought to glance at Billy again, scared he'd feel it through his unconsciousness and wake up to beat his ass while still bound. So he connected with his buddy Dustin instead on his walkie-talkie.

"Can you... Shut... The fuck... Up...? You've been raving about how scared you are that I'll break your pretty little neck for forever, now, Jesus Harrington." Steve blinked. One, Billy was awake? Since when? Two, he remembered his surname...?

"You uh... You know me."

"Course I do. We went to highschool, together. You were that loser they used to call King Steve, couldn't play basketball for shit and I beat you to pulp that one time. Did I get all the facts right?" He went solemn, saying a swift goodbye and hung up. Then he slowly nodded in response to Billy's question, the blonde arching his brows in casual mockery and staring blankly at the screen.

"Uh... Billy? Billy?" He turned to him, teeth gritted. He'd been stuck in the memories but he wasn't sure whether he was glad to be pulled out for a while or if he deserved to relive it over and over. After all, he'd done those things. He's the one that hadn't been strong enough to fight back against that monster. Why the hell was he still alive? "Aren't you gonna like... Ask why we're both in a random car going off to nowhere? Ask where we're headed? Ask why I'm with you?"

"I don't give even the slightest spec of a flying fuck, Harr-" he stopped himself, letting out a huff as he mulled things over. His eyes were dull when he finally rose them to meet Steve's, quietly wondering how brown eyes could shine that brightly. "Max...?"

"Oh. She's fine. Should be back home, by now. Your parents must be worried sick." Billy scoffed lightly in reply, turning his gaze to the windows. It was all dark. made of the same material as the screen. He couldn't see anything.

"Okay. I'm curious enough. Guess if I'm going to die I should know by whose hand and why the hell they decided to bring you here to torture me further. If this is hell, I guess I'd get it but I don't think so, considering the pain in my side feels pretty damn real."
