Anyways I love how he said this because it's really not healthy for fans to think that they will ever have a chance with their favorite idols. I'm sorry ladies, gentlemen, and non-binaries, but none of us have a chance so just accept that. Find someone who will actually make time for YOU and YOU alone, and that's something that your favorite idols can never give you. When idols say they love you, it's a different kind of love as it's meant for millions of people, unlike when a fan says it, it's directed towards just one person or group or multiple groups, it's just not proportional. Anyways sorry for ranting but I hate it when people get possessive over people who they will never meet and never have. I'm a very realistic person so it's hard for me to understand why someone would think this way, it's just not healthy for anyone. So I'm very thankful that Chenle is an idol who respects his boundaries as an idol and tries to promote that fans don't have a chance with him due to obvious reasons (ie his career, the fact that you might not even live in the same country, he doesn't have time to date, etc).
