So I posted on my message board about how my state has been stuck in a freezing fog for the past week or so, and how today (01/26/23) is the first time I've seen the sun and the blue sky since the freezing fog started. I wanted to show you guys what the freezing fog looked like and what it looks like outside now compared to it.

This is during the freezing fog and as you can see the sky wasn't visible at all. This was at 5:20 pm on Sunday and you should have been able to see the sun setting but you couldn't.

This is also from Sunday but it was 10:11 am

This is from Saturday at 5:44 pm and the visibility is a bit better than it would be the next day as you can faintly see the lights from downtown in the background (I live 35 minutes from downtown and I shouldn't be able to see the lights from where I live but since I live on a big hill, I can see the tall buildings and their lights) (you can see my dog in the picture lol, isn't she cute 🥰).

This is from today at 11:43 am. You can see the noticeable difference in visibility. The sun decided it wanted to hide behind the clouds when I took this picture.

This is from a different angle where you would be able to see downtown at night

This is from a different angle where you would be able to see downtown at night. The tree line is completely visible unlike before when you could barely see the trees.

It was really crazy to see this happen, like all of a sudden the world was thrown into darkness and now suddenly there's light again. As I'm typing this, more clouds have started to form when 43 minutes ago there were barely any clouds. I took a picture 9 minutes later (so 34 minutes ago) and there were way more clouds already. Thankfully the sun is still shining through the clouds. We've only had 15 days where the sun has been out and usually we have about 18-20 days of sunshine in January (I think that's what they said) so it's been really weird to not see the sun at all. Anyways just wanted to share this with you guys!
