The day went on like normally, and after lunch, me and the girls went to the bathroom to talk.
I told them what happened and explained what I was feeling.
"I don't know why I was feeling that way," I said confused.
"It's because you like him back," Julia said, smirking. As I was gonna say something, we could hear something outside.
"What is that?" Lillian asked.
We went outside to see Ryan screaming at Lucas.
"Why did you take Evie away from me when she was gonna say yes?" Ryan yelled at Lucas
"Who said she was gonna say yes? What if she was gonna reject you?" Lucas said, yelling back.
"She likes me, she was about to say yes, but your jealous ass took her from me," Ryan went up to him and pushed him.
Lucas grabbed Ryan's shirt, and punched him in the face. Ryan fell to the ground and as he got up, he tried to punch Lucas, but Lucas punched him.
"STOP," I yelled at Lucas. I guess Lucas didn't hear me and continued punching Ryan.
I grabbed Lucas's arm, turned his arm and locked it, so he couldn't move, but he was in pain.
"I said stop!" I yelled. Lucas said,
"Owww ow, let me go, Evie," he said, in pain.
"No," I looked at him with anger.
I don't know how he turned it on me, because he had never been able to escape that.
He grabbed my arm, turned me to face him and it was like we had a moment.
He looked into my eyes and I looked into his.
I was still angry, so I grabbed his arm and flipped him to where he fell on the floor, on his back.
"Did you think it would be that easy to escape that?" I asked.
"Remember, I took karate, self defense, and other martial arts, it's not gonna be easy," I added.
I held out a hand and he took it. I felt this tingle in my body and it was kinda weird. I lifted him up, pulling him up. When he got up, he pulled me close to him.
"And you thought you could escape me?" he said, smirking. I heard Ryan storm off with a bloody nose, but I didn't care.
Lucas and I looked at each other. We had this moment where we were just looking at each other. He was about to kiss me, but I pulled away.
"Um I gotta go home now, see u tomorrow," I grabbed Lillian's and Julia's arm, who was watching the whole thing and they were in shock. I could see Lucas smiling from the corner of my eye and I smiled too.
