So, I am kind of blown away by how well this story is being perceived. I don't think I've written anything else on here that gets such fast reads, votes and comments as this story does. And the fact that it's all been so positive is amazing. Thank you all so very much! This chapter changed so many times but I think I finally landed on something that I am happy with. I apologise for the long wait. Hopefully, the wait for the next chapter will be much shorter. A few quick things, I've always pictured Severus in this story as looking like Adam Driver - if he looked like he was in a perpetually bad mood - while most of the other characters are all as they were in the movies, minus Hermione's 'Mina' appearance. I will also be introducing the remaining Marauders into the story soon - Remus and Sirius that is, not Peter, at least not yet. I will be keeping with the internets fan casting of Ben Barnes as Sirius Black and Andrew Garfield as Remus Lupin. They are both far closer to the ages the characters were in the books and they will both play pretty significant parts in the overall narrative. And lastly, concerning Hermione's relationship with Severus, please understand that I did intend this book to be a slow burn. This book is going to be long and its themes will get pretty dark at times but if ever I publish a chapter and something happens in it that makes you second guess my sanity or motives, please know everything has meaning and reason behind it. Nothing has been added just for shock value alone. Bare with me. The ending with be worth it all, I swear.
