Gojo x Reader - The Strongest

Chapter 4

[HE CAN LOOK DOWN AT ME ANY TIME OHOHOHOHO ok I'm gonna head outside]

"Uh..." she whispers as she walks down the dark steps the plastic bags rustling with each step, "Gojo! I brought the sweets you told me to bring," she steps off the last step before looking up in shock. She stares before Gojo steps in front of her with a smile, "You're here," she says with a small quiver as Gojo takes the bags so she can give Yuji a hug. "I'm so glad you're okay. Gojo told me what happened," she pauses, "I'm so sorry I wasn't there to help," she lowers her head gathering herself.

"It's okay," Yuji pats the back of her head, "Thank you," he smiles as she raises her head.

Gojo starts a movie for him and the pair stand in the back of the room. After a while, Yuji gets punched by the bear the principal cursed and Gojo tells him to hang in there before telling him they have to leave, he turns to walk out but stops midstep. He stops and (y/n) turns around knowing what he's going to ask.

"I see," Gojo responds after Yuji says he doesn't remember what he talked about with Sukuna when he was dead. Gojo looks over at (y/n) and she focuses before almost falling back quickly getting pulled in by Gojo. Her eyes are wide as she holds her head. Gojo says goodbye to Yuji and guides, (y/n), out.

As they wait for the car he asks (y/n) what happened and still in shock he grounds her by putting his hands on her shoulder.

"He kicked me out..." she can't hold eye contact, "He said a few things and then shut me out...literally..."

The car arrives and after a while of driving, Gojo stops the car stepping out with (y/n) before telling the driver to drive off. The driver hesitates and Gojos tone grows more serious.

"Just what do you think I am,"

"In that case," Is all the driver says before speeding off.

"(y/n)," she looks at him her face serious as she tucks her hair behind her ear. "Now..."

A curse falls from the sky landing on the road sending pieces into the sky. She's standing behind Gojo as he asks who the cursed creature is. The creature doesn't reply and instead moves his hand. (y/n) jumps away as something comes out of the wall. Gojo turns around right as the lava pours out, it burns the ground and the creature laughs.

"That was easier than I expected," she listens, standing on the cliff above them as the smoke clears the creature quickly changes facial expressions realizing Gojo is now standing with the fire around him.

"Who are you calling easy?" He questions as the fire around him slow disappears, revealing him standing, one hand in his pocket the other one posed. (y/n) smirks before sitting down crisscrossing her legs, arms resting on her knees as she closes her eyes, seemingly meditating.

He's a cursed spirit but he can communicate clearly. Gojo thinks and she nods her head in agreement, and the sheer amount of cursed energy, he continues, he's stronger than Sukuna currently, she interrupts. An unregistered special grade? He questions and she opens her eyes.

"Special-grades are classified as such because they're special," (y/n) stands up as he continues, "Having them pop up this frequently throws everything off,"

"Did I wound your pride,"

"Nope I'm starting to find this fun," he cracks his knuckles before matching (y/n)'s smirk.

"No sense of danger at all," the spirit points at him.

He chose a place devoid of people he questions and (y/n) shakes her head, he was avoiding other sorcerers coming to back us up, (y/n) smiles before mosquitos fly towards him. They stop right in front of him and he questions what they are before they start chattering and (y/n) bends over covering her ears in pain, sound? He questions before they blow up. He lands where she was standing switching places with her, looking down watching her breathing go back to normal. The spirit attacks again and (y/n) looks up to find Gojo's head now on fire as his body falls back.

"There's more," the spirit yells out before hitting Gojos back and a purple beam fills her eyes as she looks away, the purple is soon replaced by fire and smoke. "I'm going to spread real strength, the real truth, through death," he's walking away and (y/n) smirks before landing in front of him.

"I guess it's my turn," the eyes of the spirit widen and she pouts, "What?" she crosses her arms before appearing in front of the spirit, "Is it cause I'm a girl?" she questions with a smirk before kicking him, sending him flying back. "That's not cool," she throws a punch in the air landing him on the ground.

"Where'd you come from?" he groans

"I've been here the whole time silly," she looks at it for a second before she disappears as he stands up.

Gojo walks over to him and explains why he wasn't able to hit him. He motions for him to put his hand out demonstrating infinity to the spirit. He stands in shock, his hand not touching Gojo's before Gojo brings his hand in and intertwines his fingers with the spirit before hitting its stomach and kicking it. Purple blood comes out of his mouth before Gojo hits it a few times.

Kicking it into the forest (y/n) follows sitting on a branch watching the fight break out, eventually, Gojo hits him to a nearby lake and she decides to move to a better view. She notices Gojo holding Yuji before they disappear into a sphere. (y/n) sighs unable to see the fight, the domain expansion taking over her view. After a while, the domain expansion shatters and they land under her. Gojo stands with his foot on the spirit's head, questioning it. The spirit doesn't answer and instead the area is filled with flowers after a spike falls from the sky, landing right in front of Gojo. She watches the two stop as they smile, admiring the beautiful flowers.

Gojo, he gets serious before slapping his face, That is a curse, right? She is standing behind him now, yes, she's watching Yuji, it's stripping away my will to fight, she reaches for Yuji but he's already in the sky, what looks like a tree holding onto his ankles.

"I'll be fine!" he yells out and (y/n) turns to look at Gojo, "Go after him!" A tree with a mouth appears out of the ground, "Sorry, I lied. Help!" the branch is about to throw him in the tree's mouth but Gojo quickly crosses his hands, slicing the tree before setting it on fire. Yuji lands on his back and (y/n) kneels next to him making sure he's okay.

"Wow, he got away," Gojo looks up with a smirk, like you, he's good at hiding his presence, she helps Yuji up before standing next to Gojo, he's way creepier than volcano head. Yuji falls to his knees apologizing and (y/n) smiles nervously, scratching the back of her head.

"Uh..."

"So cursed spirits of that level are forming a faction now?" Yuji continues apologizing, "This is getting interesting," she smiles hearing the excitement in his voice as he turns around, "Yuji, I want you – or rather – everyone to become strong enough to beat that,"

(y/n)'s eyes widen at Gojo, as Yuji's teeth clench in fright his shoulders raising, a look of confusion overtakes him as he looks off to the side. 

"Huh? Beat that?"

"It's better to have a concrete goal right?" he wiggles his finger a grin on his face, "Man, I'm glad I brought you here,"

"I had no idea what was going on though, are you serious?"

Gojo explains a few things and (y/n) stands off to the side feeling tired. She looks down at the ground her arms crossed as she leans against the tree. Her eyes close slightly and her head slowly falls before a thought crosses her mind and her head shoots up, knowing it's not her own thought. She dismisses it before looking at Gojo, she looks away and then quickly looks back her eyes wide, he looks in her direction before realizing.

"I'm late," he mutters and she nods her head before they head off, dropping Yuji off and going to the meeting.

[HAPPY VALENTINES DAY MUAH <3 so this episode was one of my favorite its just so gojo yknow. anyways long chapter to make up for the short one :p like I've said before this is originally an oc x reader I'm writing and I've just hit the 12th chapter and I'm blushing from what i wrote IM TOO EXCITED LMAO hope you're all enjoying this so far! ttyl]
