Gojo x Reader - The Strongest

Chapter 5

The sound of her shoes on the wood fills the hallway as she makes her way to greet the other students. She's fidgeting as thoughts fill her mind, with a deep breath she closes her eyes exhaling to blow them away.

"Hello everyone!" she says excitedly opening the door with a close-eyed smile. "I'm sorry I haven't been so involved," she apologetically looks at the first years before looking at the second years.

"(y/n)!" Yuji and Nobara yell out excitedly.

"Sujiko," Toge says and she smiles.

"Hello Yuji and Nobara hope you've been getting along," she smiles looking at Megumi and nodding her head, he does the same before she looks at the second years, "Maki, Toge, Panda..." she trails off not finding the fourth student. A small frown quickly leaves her lips as she goes to hug the others. "I'm so glad you're all here!"

"Hello, (y/n), how have you been?" Panda asks and she smiles a hand on the back of her head.

"Busy have you guys been good?"

"Shake,"

"I'm glad," she smiles again before taking on a serious tone, "Listen, the Kyoto high students will do anything to win, so..." she pauses hearing Gojo in her mind before sighing, "Do your best and don't let the little things put you down!" she smiles at them before waving and walking out. She sighs as she closes the door hearing them talk through the other side.

"How is she one of the strongest again?" someone questions and she stands waiting for someone to answer the question.

"Well, for starters with a flick of the wrist she could probably make you drop dead," (y/n) rolls her eyes at the exaggeration a small smile still on her lips.

"Shake,"

"And she can hear everyone's thoughts in a certain radius,"

"What? How is she still sane?"

Someone laughs and she smiles, "I don't know but it's amazing, and her hearing is top-notch,"

"It compliments Gojo real well, the hearing for his sight,"

"She's also exhausted most of the time,"

"What does that mean?

"I've been to a few higher up meetings and she's usually next to Gojo with her eyes closed,"

"And sometimes she doesn't fight at all. Or she's behind Gojo with her head down eyes closed like if shes sleeping,"

"Something to do with her concentration,"

"They communicate right?"

"Yeah definitely! She can put thoughts in other people's head so..."

"She puts thoughts in his head and his in hers but he can only do it to her I think,"

"Yeah, she's most likely sharing a part of her cursed energy to do that,"

She starts to head down the hallway deciding to not listen to the rest of the conversation. Walking into the room she finds Gojo with Utahime Iori, (y/n) gives her a tired smile before sitting next to Gojo. Shortly after, the room fills with the rest of the sorcerers. Gojo makes an announcement bullying Iori in the process. (y/n) smiles at him before looking back at the screen. He yells at them to start and she watches them run. She watches Yuji fight the third year, Aoi Todo, knowing Yuji is smart she lowers her head and closes her eyes. Letting her mind clear while the event takes place.

I don't know what he's planning, she opens her eyes at his thought, but it won't be that easy to deal with Yuji anymore. She nods her head in agreement before closing her eyes. A while passes and her eyes shoot open. Gojo glances at her and she looks over at all the red flames on the wall behind them, the tvs have gone dark and her mind races, Gojo, they're here, his palms are together as he rests his chin on his thumbs, after a minute of conversing they're given instructions. Gojo stands up looking down at (y/n) before clapping his hands and taking a jab at the principal. (y/n) stands up and follows behind Gojo as they head out to help the students.
