Gojo x Reader - The Strongest

Chapter 7

Gojo chases (y/n) around a forest, trying to improve her skills, Gojo lowers his. She's standing on a branch watching Gojo in the center of the forest as he looks around, unsuspecting. She jumps and he quickly moves out of the way, and she falls Âon her knees next to him, her head lowered. She quickly looks up, her hair following the movement as she glares up at Gojo. He looks down at her with a smirk, her gaze exciting him.

"It's better (y/n)," she slowly stands, adjusting her turtleneck, "Let's try-"

"Please," she quietly pleads

"Domain expansion," her shoulders drop and her eyes sadden, "I'll be here (y/n),"

She lowers her head for a second before looking up and closing her eyes. Slowly she raises her hands in front of her.

"Domain expansion," she says before opening her eyes, now lighter than the usual navy.

The area around them is dark the light that is usually there is no longer illuminating but she can still see. After a few seconds, she turns to face Gojo. He's right in front of her and she looks up at him noticing his smile.

"Perfect," he says.

"Can you see?" he shakes his head and she smiles.

"Can you?"

"Yes," his smile grows.

"Now try flooding,"

"Gojo,"

"Don't worry,"

    She does the opposite of what he tells her not to do, before raising her hands again, this time closing them into a fist with a sigh she opens them, pushing her open palms outwards. Waiting for Gojo to react she looks up at him, but he just stares ahead. Feeling uneasy she starts to back away from him, with a scream she falls to the ground. Everything is loud and distorted as she covers her ears, her eyes tearing up.

"Gojo!" she tries to scream but it's just another distorted sound that adds to her pain.

    She's hyperventilating as she places her head on the ground covering it with her arms as the sounds grow louder, thoughts from all around flooding her head. She can hear her heart beating faster and faster feeling the blood rushing through her body. Her body is shaking as she tries to remove her domain expansion but her mind isn't clear enough for her to even think. After a few more seconds everything clears and she feels someone standing in front of her. She's still shaking unable to move so he squats down placing a hand on her back as she quietly sobs into the grass.

"I'm sorry (y/n)," he says softly, "I didn't-" she looks up at him her eyes and face red, his head dropping, placing his forehead on hers.

She lowers her head slowly and he looks at her, watching her breathing slow down as her eyes close. Her body falls limply to the side and he catches her. He adjusts himself so her head comfortably lays on his lap. He gently places his hands over her ears as he looks up before looking back down at her, and closing his eyes.

    He finds himself in darkness as he looks around, hearing weeping he slowly walks towards it. His shoes echo through the darkness as he gets closer to the weeping. He finds (y/n) sitting with her knees to her chest sobbing into her arms.

"(y/n)," she looks up slowly and her sobbing intensifies.

"I'm so sorry Gojo," he kneels down in front of her, "I failed," she shakes her head, "I don't think I'll be able to do it again," her voice breaks as she speaks unable to look at Gojo, afraid she'll find disappointment in his eyes.

"You did great,"

She aggressively shakes her head, "I know what you're thinking Gojo!" she yells at him and he slightly leans back surprised at her response, she places her hands on her head, "I know what everyone is thinking!" she tightens her grip, frustrated.
