A detective walked into work. He was tall and strong looking, he was slim and wore a smile on his lips. "Good morning detective nines" one of the lovely secretaries said "good morning nitasha you look Rutherford lovely today" he replied and leaned against the counter his hands placed respectfully in front of him. She smiled "while uh" she paused as she blushed slightly "thank you nines that means a lot." She turned her head shyly "I do wish a non married man though so to" she sighed slightly sad the detective placed a hand on hers "don't worry it's going to take time but you'll find someone who can't live without you just be patient" g he e reassured "thank you" she replied "gave a wonderful day" she said nines patted the counter before walking inside. The detective smiled sadly. He was technically still married but his wife had passed away from cancer 8 months ago. He made his way to his desk but before he could start working the captain called him "detective Conrad I would like to speak with you in my office" he ordered "yes captain Fowler sir" he spoke respectfully and quickly made his way to the office of his superior. He walked and noticed 2 Androids standing in the corner of the room "conrad Your an amazing detective on your own but I'm assuming you a partner" Fowler started conrad nodded not saying anything. "As you have already seen the Androids you know how this is going to go" Fowler continued "yes sir" Conrad spoke "GR800" the captain spoke the smaller Android of the two responded and stepped forward until in line with the detective. "GR800 is assigned to you please check your files on your computer" Fowler orders "yes sir... if I may ask captain" conrad started Fowler looked at him and motioned for him to go ahead "since there are 2 androids I take it I will not be the only one getting a new partner this morning" "correct conrad... if your wondering who all I'll tell you is they will not be as accepting as you have been" the captain answered "with all due respect sir do you really believe it's a good idea to give connor an Android partner. Surely you know how much he hates them" Conrad started "detective he will not have a choice in the matter. I understand your concerns. But it's going to happen one way or another" the captain replied "yes sir I understand" conrad said and lowered his head respectfully before exiting the office. He was followed by GR800 "this is going to be a nightmare GR800" Conrad sighed sitting down in his chair GR800 stood behind him "can I call you anything other that GR800" Conrad asked "I'm gavin I'm the Android sent by cyberlife" the Android spoke "well gavin will you please sit down" conrad huffed motioning to the chair in the desk in front of them. Gavin sat in the chair. *connor won't take this well*

It was already 7:00 at night and Connor still has yet to show up for work. conrad was getting ready to leave the department for the night "gavin what do you do after work" conrad asked and he started putting his jacket on "I will most likely be waiting here for you in the morning" the Android spoke "well okay then I guess I'll see you in the..." conrad paused when he saw the other Android exit the captain's office it was an older looking android it had gray longish hair "what's the other android" conrad quickly asked "it's and HK800" "thank you" conrad said and ran after it "HK800" he called the android stopped and turned to look at him "yes" It responded "may I ask were your off to" "I'm not authorized to tell you" the Android replied "you were sent to find lieutenant connor am I right" the Android said nothing but nodded. "To make it easier he should be at a bar close by" "thank you" the Android said and continued walking. Conrad took a look back at his desk to see Gavin still sitting there. His LED was yellow instead of the blue he saw all day. Conrad sighed and left he had to go pick up his child from his parents house.

The Android that was sent to look for lieutenant connor stood outside the last bar in the area the Android looked at the 'no androids' sign on the door the Android opened the door and walked inside there were a few people inside who stop to glare at HK800 while others didn't even look at it. HK800 scanned the faces of the people inside. He scanned the face of the last human. A younger man sat at the bar with a drink in hand and slouched over. The Android made his way over to the man "lieutenant connor I'm hank the Android sent by cyberlife" the Android spoke the lieutenant glared up at him "the fuck do you want you plastic pet" the man growled.
