The Sleepover

Ray POV:

School ended and I made my way home on the bus. When I arrived Isabella was getting stuff ready for something.

"Mum? What are you doing?"

I didn't realise I called her mum.

"Oh Ray, uh, so I got a job interview in half an hour, and the drive is 20 minutes and I'm a bit late as you can see, and I can't find my laptop"

"Don't worry, I know where it is"

"Where?"

"You left it in the studio, you were doing a zoom call and you needed silence so you went in there and left it"

She quickly ran there and came back with it in her hands.

"Thank you so much honey, do you need to go anywhere soon?"

"No, I don't want to hold you up, ill catch the bus"

"Alright, just text me when you need me"

"Okay, now hurry up and go!"

She kissed my forehead and ran out the door. I laugh and shut the door. I walked up to my room and put my bag down I grab the books that I got homework from. And put them in my bag, which was 3 classes. I pack clothes for tomorrow. And my book that I'm currently reading. I take my charger and put it in my bag as well. I then put my laptop in as well as it's portable charger. Once my bag had finished being packed I grabbed my opal card and made my way into town. When I arrived at the bus stop I just realised. I didn't know where Don lives. I text the group chat them all responding.

Gay Emo: guys, I don't know where Don's house is...

Giraffe: you dumbfuck.

I turned my phone off and walked to the adress. I have passed his house on the way to school everyday. I turned around the corner entering the street. I looked carefully at the numbers til I saw his. His house a decent size I walked up to it and knocked. I heard running slipping and crashing laughing then more running til the door opened. I see Don there at the door. I walk in carefully and look to where the laughing is coming from. I look down the hallway and see Emma on top of Gilda on top of Norman. Emma gets up and helps Gilda. I smirk and walk up to Norman. I hold my hand out and he grabs it standing up. I look over at Emma and Gilda who seemed to be cancelling. Then I looked at Don who just shrugged his shoulders.

"Who was at the door dear?"

I heard what I assumed to be his foster parents.

"Oh Ray, you know they boy who looked after everyone at the-"

"The Ray!?"

"..yes... Ray get your ass over here"

I walk out from the corner and see a short woman with white hair and blues, then a taller make with black hair and dark brown eyes. They look at me with welcoming smiles. I naturally smile back.

"I need to thank you so much for looking after Don and all how many others?"
