Ray took Lilly on his shoulders and to the barn. All the animals were in their coops or whatever. Norman still has Rose so he stood outside. Ray opened up the sheep's pen and got them to follow him to their big open area. Then goats, Chickens to their smaller area with their chicken coop. And different fencing. Pigs over to where the mud was in the pen area. Then cows. They cows were much harder to maintain. They have a mind of their own.
Then the horses need to be out on the paddock. So one by one they did do. Except Thana and Winter. Ray spoke.
"Let's see if they can walked today"
Ray opened the gate and held his hand out with a carrot. They both come out walking nearly perfectly. He got them to walk to the paddock. But having to carry Winter the rest of the way cause she was smaller then Thana. They tried galloping around but fell a few times. Then they went to the food part of the farm.
"May wants some stuff for lunch and dinner. She's going to make you favourite apple pie. Do you want to pick the apples?"
"Mhm!!"
She ran off the a shed off to the side that held baskets and stuff. She had a nice weaved one.
She walked over to Ray who put her on his shoulder one again. Norman saw Rose had teeth. She called out to Lilly.
"Hey Lilly?"
"Yeah?"
"Can Rose eat anything solid, I see she has teeth"
"No, she can only eat soft food. Like raspberries. Or soft bananas"
"Oh does she like them?"
"Mhm, she loves them"
Norman set her down and a dry patch of grass and pick and raspberry for her. She looked at it and took a small bite. She realised what is was and put the whole thing is her mouth. It obviously took a while to eat but she enjoyed that. Norman sat down and pulled her in his lap. He faced Ray and Lilly who were still picking apples. Lilly looked like she knew what she was doing. They soon finished and they had a full basket of apples.
"And now some other things for dinner."
"What's for dinner?"
"I think... Your favourite"
"Yay!!"
"What her favourite?"
"Fried rice with a special salad"
"Sounds nice"
"It is, go grab another basket, we need to grab the food"
Lilly smiles happy to go get another one. But she screams and runs back.
"What's wrong?"
"The doggie tried to bite me!!"
"Dog? Where?"
"Behind the shed"
Ray left her with Norman and went to look. It was a family border collie.
