The team climbed out of the cabs and stood, looking at the ramshackle hotel.

"It definitely doesn't look like the brochure." Max laughed.

"It's going to be few days of hard work, making this place liveable... but I think we can do it." Ari stated, his hands on his hips.

With a little push of enthusiasm from Ari, the team began unloading their luggage from the taxis. Ari stayed close to YN, ready to help whenever she struggled with a particularly large bag. Once all bags, suitcases and personal artefacts had been removed from the cabs, Sammy passed a bunch of crumpled up notes to each driver. Once paid, they sped of into the seemingly endless desert.

"Let's get unpacked, shall we?" YN spoke, earning nods from the rest of the team, all of them desperately wanting to get out of the heat.

They walked into the empty resort, it felt like a ghost town. Shutters had broken and were hanging from the windows, letting in the unforgiving sun. A fine layer of sand and dust covered the few stray chairs and tables, that stood in the reception area. The team dumped their bags and began to explore the deserted hotel. Max and Jake ran off to find the "best room", Rachel had gone with Sammy to check out the kitchen facilities, leaving Ari and YN to explore on their own.

They walked around the empty hotel, making mental notes on what needed fixing and what needed a fresh lick of paint. After wondering around the building for a few minutes, they came to a long corridor with a old wooden door at the end. Ari held his hand out, and just like a magnet, without thinking, YN connected her hand to his. They continued down the hallway and pushed the flimsy door open. The sight that greeted them, was beautiful. The golden sand beach stretched along the coast, as far as the eye could see. The soft blue waves lapping gently against the shore, causing foam to bubble up where the water met land.

"Oh my, it's stunning." YN breathed in, taking in the views of the peaceful beach. "Race you to the sea?" She said as she looked up at Ari, still stood beside her.

"Oh you're on, sweetheart!" He teased back.

"On your marks... get set..." Just as YN was about to say go, their little game was interrupted by Jake.

"Guys!" He shouted. YN and Ari both looked over to the him. He was holding a newspaper in his hand. "This paper is from today! There is someone else here!" He continued to holler, across the beach. Suddenly the wooden door that Ari and YN had walked through, swung open.
A group of, what seemed to be locals, ran through them.

"Wait, WAIT!" Ari shouted, chasing them down. They stopped hesitantly and turned to look at the team. "Stop, wait.." he continued, trying to catch his breath. "My name is Guy Thomas. I am the new owner of this hotel." He spoke softly, looking at the group of scared locals. A man stepped forward from the group and held his hand out to Ari.

"My name is Azizi... I cook." He spoke in his thick accent. Ari took his hand and shook it, then introduced the rest of the team, once tensions had died down. They continued chatting about working hours and said that they would be back in the morning to help clean and prepare breakfast. The team and local staff parted ways shortly after.
