His True self

Tara pov:

        I opened my eyes with a smile that lingered in the corner of my lips. As I wish I had a dream with Zale. It was a beautiful dream. I look at the time. I realized that I overslept today. I am already late to work. No one woke me up today.

I rushed to the bathroom did my business. I wear a cream pencil skirt along with a black shirt. Black is my color. I feel confident when I wear black. I went down. My family is having breakfast.

"Grands, I am leaving. I am late already" I said and took an apple to eat on the way. I don't want to straw.

"This girl" I heard my grandma say. I booked a cab already. I am on the way to the office. But, I feel someone is following me. I turned around to look. There are more cars and bikes behind me. nothing not odd then why am I feeling this way.

I reached the office 30minutes late today. I informed Kevin already that I will be late today. I was waiting for the elevator with the crowd. I hate to be in the crowd. It suffocates me. Now, I don't have any other choice.

Once the elevator door opens, everyone is pushing me back. Are they professionals? OMG, they all behaving like wild animals. I lost my balance and was about to fall on my butt. I closed my eyes tightly due to fear. But, I don't feel any pain. I slowly open my eyes, strong arms are holding me close to him. I turn my head and look at my savior.

Those grey eyes looking at me. I look at him with a lot of emotions. This is the first time I am looking at him closely. My eyes moved to his lips. I gulped at that. Again I look at his eyes. I don't see any emotions or anything in those beautiful grey eyes.

It is always cold and dangerous. "I know I am handsome. Are you going to get up or do you want me to carry you?" he said with a playful smirk

I blushed and stood up. "I am sorry, I was lost," I said in embarrassment. I was openly checking him and the worst part is he notice that. I want to dig a big hole and hide it in there. I was about to move towards the elevator but it closed. I need to wait, already I am late today.

"We have a meeting in 10 Minutes. Convey to your team" he said with a smirk and leave in his elevator.

I just want to wipe that smirk badly from his face. He didn't even ask me to go with him. Instead, he orders me to inform my team of a meeting. That too in ten minutes. I am not able to understand him.

Sometimes he is so kind and friendly towards me. Sometimes it's the polar opposite. What's wrong with him? I can't take the staircase. I don't want to die like this. I took my phone and messaged Mahi that we have a meeting in 10minutes with the bossy CEO.

Now, we are in the conference room. The meeting started and Kevin is explaining about the market growth. I was taking notes of an important point. When they have done, I have to email the MOM of this. So, I attentively took all notes.

"I need this report by tomorrow," he said. No strike that. He ordered everyone.

"But sir, this report will take a minimum of two days," Kevin said

"Did I am paying for you that low? You have resources. I don't what you will do, I need the report on my table by tomorrow by this time" he said and left the meeting room.

What does he think of us? Arrogant idiot. Kevin sign and said "Guys, we have overtime today. Get back to your works"

We all started to do work. Everyone is working like a robot. I am giving them the information they needed. I am helping them to analyze the data. Since I am good at Maths, I can do it a little bit fast.
