Enemies motive

Zale Pov:

          I was waiting for my angel. Today is the day she is coming back to Texas. I don't plan to take her to my house. Kendrick wants to talk with her. He wants to know his sister-in-law.

I was sitting in my study doing pending work. I heard a horn sound. My angel is here. I went down. Her back is facing me. I hugged her.

She startled first. Then she slowly calmed herself after knowing it was me. I missed her smell. I missed this closeness. What are you doing to me woman?

Her scent of sandalwood mixed with lite vanilla flavor made my mind blank. I buried my face in the crook of her neck. Its heaven. I tighten the grip. I whispered "I miss you, angel"

I kissed her mouthwatering the Nape of her neck. It's welcoming me. Her fist tightens. She is holding back. I know how much effect I have on her. And I love that.

I slowly turned her toward me. She is looking down. I said "Look at me angel"

She immediately looked at me. I like the way how submissive she is now. I kissed her forehead. She closed her eyes and holds my shirt. I hugged her tightly. For the first time, she responded. She hugged me back.

She snuggles toward my chest. I smile at that. I want this moment to last long. I want her in my life. I will do anything for that.

Our beautiful moment was disturbed by Henrik. He clears his throat. My angel pushed me a little and looks at him. I groan at this distance. I glare at him. He smirks at me. You fucker!

"Hi, Welcome sister-in-law," he said smiling at her. I am going to kill him.

"Uh- Hi, call me Tara," she said. Her cheeks are red like strawberries. I just want to bite it now.

"Your husband will not like it if I call you by the name," he said and gave me a playful smile

She looks at me with her puppy eyes and said "Please, Let them call my name. I feel weird when they call me this"

She is looking exactly like a little kitten. I can't resist it. I nodded at her. She gave me bright smile and look at Henrik. "Now you can call me Tara," she said

Her one smile made my heart jump out. 'I think I am falling for her'. I want her only for myself. But, still, I am not ready to trust anyone. I know that now she is my wife. I want her in my life.

I have a trust issue. I will not even trust my shadow. I will be cautious around everyone.

Kendrick came with the luggage. He wriggled his eyebrow looking at us. If I stand here are any minute they will make many embarrassing movements.

I hold her hand took her to our room. She will be with me in my room. I have already arranged the basics necessary for her. I took her in and close the door. She is looking around the room. I am happy about her change. She is no more scared of me.

"This is our room. I know you are tired. Get fresh and take some rest" I said

"Our room? Are we sharing a room now?" she said with surprise.

"Yes. You are my wife. Why should we use a separate room?" I said

She is nervous. I smirk. My angel is not that innocent. "Don't worry; I will not take advantage of you. I will not touch you without your concern" I said and moved to the cupboard.

I took my dress to change. I needed to go to a meeting. If it's about my business I could have moved to sometime. But it's important underground. I need to discuss that with Mohammed Ali. We are getting trouble with the arrival of shipment.

I went to change my clothes. When I came back, there is no one in my room. It's empty. Her luggage is at the same place where I kept it. I look around and saw the balcony door is open.

She is looking outside. I went near her. She turned to look at me from top to bottom. She furrowed the eyebrow and look at me.

Her eyes and smile make me feel happy. She is amazingly comforting.

"I need to go for a meeting. You take a rest. I will back soon" I said and pulled her toward me.

She blushed again. I bit her cheeks. "I can't help but bite your cheeks. It's cute when you blush" I said

She blushed more. I smile at her and caress her cheek. She looks at me. Her eyes are showing lots of emotions. I lean toward her lips. She closed her eyes and leaned to me. I landed my lips on her. I was waiting to kiss her the moment I saw her in the hall.

Her lips are so soft and addictive. I will not have enough of this. It feels so nice. I was sucking her and it turned passionate. The surprising part is she is kissing me back.

What had happened these two days that made her change?

I feel she struggle to breathe. I pulled myself back from her and look at her. She was breathing heavily. I kissed her forehead and said "Wait for me. I will come soon"

She looked down and nodded shyly. I left the room. If I stay for any minute I will forget the meeting. It's more important now. Before I leave I tighten the security and leave Kendrick to be with her.

I went to my basement office. Mohammed Ali was waiting for me. I sat in my seat. We started the discussion. "Lucifer, I have found that rat. But he is not useful for us. He doesn't know who is behind this" he said.

Someone is playing the card very well. I am sure he is the same person who attacks me. I lighten my cigar. "But, I have moved the shipment to the border. Your people took that. It will reach the port in two days" he said

My mind is running with the person who is behind this. I can clearly see he wants revenge. But, who is he? Why does he want revenge? Which gang is he?

"What are you thinking, Lucifer?" Ali asked me because of my silence.

"I was thinking about the mastermind behind this. He is playing his game very well. He planned all the things perfectly. I am sure, he has more plans than we expect" I said and blow the smoke.

"Whoever it is. Be careful Lucifer. His only motive is to see your death. That's clear" he said

I smirk and said "Let's see that"
