The Devil's Angel (Part 1)

Zale Pov:

                We went to the liquor room. We were discussing while drinking. My phone vibrated. I took my phone "Speak" I said

"Sir, as you said Mr. Griffin called us to know if we hired Ms. Igor for internship" My secretary Lina said

I know my angel will look into it. And the person who can help her is Garry Griffin. First I want to kill him because I thought he might be her boyfriend. But later I know that he is her best friend and also gay.

I calculated this before and said to my secretary if he calls then gives the information. As I expected she did that.

"Okay, If Ms. Igor asks you about the internship tell her that we have started this internship this year and her college recommend her name for us," I said. She will surely ask this. First I need to clear this or else she may not last in my company.

"Yes sir," she said. I hang up the call and continued my drink.

"Brother, who is Ms. Igor?" Kendrick asked him. Why is he so noisy all the time.

I look at Henrick who is controlling his smile. Then I look back at Kendrick who is looking at me in confusion.

I sign and told them everything. After I lost my family these two were there for me. I didn't need to tell them I care for them. They know that very well. When they lose their only family, I don't want to leave them.

Henrick was a mature one. But Kendrick is like a kid. He uses to cry at night calling his dad. I and Henrick will take him out to console him.

They are my family now. So, I want to share this with them.

"Wow, I am going to get sister-in-law. I will also come with you brother. I want to meet sister in law" he said in excitement.

"No, you are not going to come with me. And I am not planning to marry anyone. She is precious and I want her to be Mine" I said Playing with a drink in hand

"If you not going to marry her then why do you want to keep her? I read her profile, she respects and value Marriage life" Henrick said

I know she values marriage. But that doesn't mean I will leave her. She has to be mine. And I will do that.

I look at him blankly and said "I don't want any weakness. I just want to make her mine. She will be mine, willingly or unwillingly"

"What Henrick said about her is true then I think she is innocent and she can't manage this cruel world of us brother," Kendrick said

"Yes, Zale thinks -" I cut him in middle and said "Enough, she is mine. That's final. She has to live like this. This is her fate. I am leaving in the next two weeks. End of the discussion"

"Okay, as you say," they said and leave to their room.

I took my phone and opened the gallery where her picture is. "You are only mine. Wait for me. This devil coming for you Angel" I said while looking at her picture. I gulp the drink in one go and leave for my room.

Tara Pov:

I heard my Alarm sound. It is hitting my head like a hammer. I groan and cut the Alarm. I turned lazily to the other side and closed my eyes. My brother started to knock on my door. I am going to kill him.

"Wake up sleepy head. You are going to be late for your job" he shouted at my door and knocked crazily.

The last line hit me like thunder. I jerk from bed and said "I am Awake. I will come down in 15mins"

I rushed to the bathroom did my business and got ready. Thank god, I won't be late. I ate my breakfast. My brother will take the bus today since today is the first day he excused me.

I reached the office sharp at 7:55 AM. They want me to be here at 8. I am 5 minutes before they expect. I went to the receptionist and show them the mail which I received. They confirmed and gave me my id card.

I look at the card. A smile formed on my face. I can't believe I got my internship here. I am going to work in this business that everyone dreams about.

I went to the 30th floor as they told me. I went to reception and asked the lady for guidance. She guides me to the room and asks me to wait for Manager to join. I nodded and gave her a polite smile with thank you.

After a few minutes, the man enters the room who is in his 30s. I stood up and greeted him "Good Morning"

"Good Morning, you are one selected to do an internship here," he said

"Yes sir. I am Tara Igor" I said and shake my hands with him

"I am Kevin Miller, who is your Manager. And you got the invite from here?" said Mr. Miller

Yes Mr. Miller, But I didn't apply here. It's still Mistry for me how I got this" I said with an awkward smile.

"We started this process only this year. So, we send the invites to the top colleges and they will give us the Top student from their college" he said and continued "From that list, we will select a person who we think, he/she have the potential to work her. So, you got selected in that"

"Okay, so that's how I receive the call. I got confused and thought it was a prank" I said

He laughed at my statement. "It's okay; I will also think the same. Now back to work, you have to complete the producer that is to sign the papers. After that, you will take to the department where you work is Finance. And you will work under me"

I nodded and went to do my Producers as Mr. Miller said. Then they guide me to the team. Mr. Miller has introduced me to the team. They all introduced themselves to me. My cheeks are paining due to my continuous smile.

Some are youngsters like me and some are older people who are well experienced in this. I talk with everyone on my team. I took my seat near the empty chair. The never-seat girl is on leave today.

I took a deep breath and arrange my things in my places. I turned right and left you to see is someone looking at me. I have this feeling from the time I step my foot in this building. It's like someone is watching me closely.

Maybe it's an illusion. I shrug my thought.

The illusion which she thought was not just an illusion. The devil is watching her every move and every step she is taking. He is enjoying how his angel falls on his trap.
