"WHAT THE FUCK?!" CALLISTO IS SURE SHE JUST HAD A HEART ATTACK. "What are you doing here?"

"Telling you what time it is, I suppose."

Regulus Black is sitting across the room and...stares at her.
It is dark. Only the moon that is shining through the window allows Callisto to examine his face a little closer.

He looks tired, obviously. But there is something else in his dark eyes. Something that almost looks like he's being haunted. Since the start of this school year, he seems to be more dead than alive.
Just when Callisto tries to break the awkward silence, Regulus scolds at her.

"Can't you just fucking leave?" His voice is shaky and Callisto sees his hand tremble as he runs it through his dark curly hair.

Moody bitch.

"Jesus, calm down, Black! I'll leave at twelve when none of your friends are waiting in the common room to hurt me."

He shoots her an annoying look but seems to accept his faith.
Exhausted, Callisto closes her eyes and leans her head against the wooden door behind her. To her own surprise she doesn't really feel uncomfortable in Regulus Black's company even though he is part of the Slytherins that hate her.

The silence that stretches out between the two of them is quiet relaxing and Callisto almost forgets that he's still there. He doesn't even attempt to throw any insult at her. He's just there.

Is he?

Lightly, she opens her eyes again just to catch him already staring at her. And he doesn't bother to break eye contact with her.

Regulus Black is sitting across from her and just stares at her without making a disgusted face. No one would believe that story.

Callisto notices that he doesn't just look into her eyes, he is studying her whole face in complete silence. His eyes wander from her eyes, over her nose, down to her mouth, before they eventually find her eyes again.

"Why are you still awake?" His voice is just a whisper and Callisto isn't sure if he's really talking to her.

"I can't sleep." Callisto answers quietly. "What about you?"

His tired eyes widen in surprise and for a moment he hesitates before his gaze darts out the window. "That's none of your fucking business."

There he is. It seems like he almost forgot to play the grumpy and bitchy character he normally is. And Callisto almost forgot that she's mad at him for leaving the whole project up to her.

"You know what's my business? Our potions project. While you wasted your time ignoring me, I started doing some actual research in the library. I spent the whole fucking day doing the work for two people just because you think you're too good to talk to me. I didn't even have time to do other stuff thanks to you." Angrily, Callisto folds her arms in front of her chest and shoots a furious glare in Regulus' direction. "And...and you don't even know that I decided for the potion called draught of peace because you won't even try to work with me."
