How it happened.

Y/N's POV:

As you roamed around the tunnels of the Shie Hassaikai trying to locate Eri for the heroes, you heard a man clear his throat behind you, he seemed pissed off....uh oh...

Kai's POV:

I heard footsteps, and of course, it's one of those aggravating heroes........ this one seems to be an amateur.....she doesn't seem very experienced......this should be rather effortless...

"Ahem......Can I help you...Hero...?"

No one's POV:

You stared into Kai's golden eyes, he stared back into yours with a cold glare, awaiting your response.

"Well......? Answer me...I know you're not mute, you were rambling a moment ago as to. How'd you say it? 'Where the brat leader put her.' Looking for Eri are you?"

He stepped closer lifting his glove off cornering you.

"I've no time for your excuses anyways...I'm a busy man you know......"

He moved his hand toward you.

"WAIT!!!"

Your pleas echoed through the countless tunnels and alarmed Kai causing him to take a step back, he glanced at you.

Kai's POV:

"What....?"

I stared at her, she was trembling.....excellent...

Y/N's POV: 

You stared at his eyes terrified for your life as you chose to come clean to him,

"I-I'm a villain, I-I'm not here to give Eri up I-I was going to grab her a-and hide her acting like s-she was dead....."

You prayed he'd believe you.

Kai's POV:

This brat can't be serious........

"Really? That's why?"

She nodded!? Come on.......

"Alright.....Well, let's take you to the washrooms to clean you up......Then I can get you some nourishment if you're hungry...I don't know......."

Y/N's POV:

He's blushing?! That's so adorable!

"Okay, blushy boy~"

You taunted him.

"Shut up!!" was his panicked retort as he put his glove back on and took your hand walking you to the washrooms evading your gaze.

No one's POV:

Kai led you to the washrooms and let you go inside, showed you how the shower worked, where the towels were, and provided you with a fresh change of the clothes he had on hand, which were his clean ones, he apologized for not being able to get you something more satisfactory than his clothes, but you didn't mind.

You turned the water on letting it run to lukewarm, then turned to Kai who was folding your clothes for you so they'd be neat for you, and you chuckled calling his name as he turned to you but you welcomed him with a jet of water to the face making him scream in surprise causing you to laugh.

"What was that for?!" he coughed out the water that had gotten in his mouth as near you he chose not to wear his mask, "Now I'm all wet and now I've got to shower and dry off!!" he appeared irritated by your prank, but you knew his soft spots, you studied how he was, sure you'd be called weird but hey, he was your crush, you fancied him since childhood, you two went to school together yet he never remembered, he had much more important things to think about. 

You glanced into his eyes and cupped his face in your hands resting his cheeks in your palms as you used your thumbs to massage underneath his eyes something you discovered he enjoyed. He attempted to let out an irritated grumble but you simply giggled and continued.

"Angel...What are you doing...."

You blushed at the nickname and looked at him raising a brow to tease him. "Angel huh?~" You taunted, having realized what he had called you his face reddened with blush as he groaned and covered his face with his hands, you giggled seeing his embarrassment.

"I didn't mean to call you that!! Quit laughing at me!!"

You laughed and picked him up beaming at him moving his hands. "Can I be Miss Chisaki now?" You questioned as he scowled at you flushed with embarrassment.

"Shut your mouth!!"

He appeared aggravated but he seemed to snuggle closer to you wrapping his arms around your neck and rested his head on your shoulder, his eyes closed comfortably as you realized he fell asleep, you grinned and sat down on his bed stroking his hair letting him rest, you took his comfort and trust to you as a yes, but you'd wait until he woke up to see if that was the case, after all, he could have just been exhausted and spouting random nonsense to you.
