Thanos gets back on his ship and sighs. He takes off his mask and leans on the control panel. He says, "Destroy this area completely." The ship murmurs and a hologram of a woman appears. The woman says, "But sir-" Thanos says, "Do it now!" The ship murmurs again and roars as a blue beam shoots out of it. Alex is sitting on a building when he hears a noise come from behind him. He sees a blue beam coming from somewhere and it is destroying everything. He says, "No. This won't happen. This can't happen." Alex looks around and jumps off the ledge of the building. He sees the ship and smashes through it. He lands inside and sees Thanos. He says, "Hey, I think you should fix that hole that just came. It's not safe." Thanos says, "You're the stronger one. I wish we didn't have to fight." Alex says, "I would agree if you weren't going to destroy the world." Thanos says, "I'm going to liberate it. Just like I'm going to liberate you."
Alex says, "You're not liberating us. You're killing us." Thanos says, "If I was going to kill you I would've done it already." Alex says, "Ha! Yeah okay. Want to try that?" Thanos says, "I liberated your little friend. He sacrificed himself for you." Alex says, "What do you mean?" Thanos opens a door and pulls out Jose's body with the street light going through it. Alex says, "You-you killed Jose?" Thanos says, "I told you it isn't killing. It's liberating." Alex says, "Well, I'm going to kill you now." Thanos says, "Try it. You'll end up joining your friend." Alex yells and runs at Thanos; he catches him and throws him into the control panel causing electricity to come out. The ship turns off, the blue beam stays on, and the ship starts to fall. It crashes through buildings until landing on a beach. Alex crawls out of the ship through the hole he made when he entered the ship.
He takes off his mask and takes a deep breath. Thanos stumbles out of the ship and he falls on the floor next to Alex. They both sigh as they both try to get up. Thanos gets up first and throws Alex as far as he can. Alex coughs and spits out sand. Thanos says, "Don't get up." Alex says, "Why? You want to liberate me?" Thanos picks him up and says, "I want to make you suffer for ruining my plans. You killed the Black Order. You don't deserve to be liberated." Alex chuckles and says, "Oh really? What about on the ship you said you would liberate me. What changed?" Thanos says, "You caused us to crash, you ruined my plans, you've become a pest and I hate pests." Alex laughs and says, "Did you say I'm a pest because my name is Spider-Man. If so, I find that kind of offensive sir." Thanos smiles and says, "Goodbye Spider-Man."
He throws Alex even harder than last time but Alex catches himself by webbing the floor and pulling himself towards it. He webs up Thanos and pulls himself closer to him and starts punching his stomach over and over. Thanos groans as each punch lands. Alex continues to punch him harder and harder; he hears Thanos' ribs cracking but Thanos catches a punch and snaps Alex's wrist the other way, breaking it.
He screams in pain and Thanos starts punching him but holds him up after every punch. He punches him one more time and lets him fall to one knee. He grabs his head and hits him with his knee causing him to fall back. He says, "I'm going to stomp on the pest, you don't deserve liberation, you deserve death." Just as he's about to stomp on Alex's head Alex webs his foot and pulls it towards the ground. Thanos can't move, Alex jumps up, and uppercuts Thanos. He hears a crack as he falls back down. He grabs his wrist and turns around to see what happened to Thanos. When he looks he sees Thanos' head is completely off his body.He sits down on the sand as the waves crash, the wind is cold, the sun is setting, and he cries. He lets everything go as he slowly falls asleep on the beach. When he wakes up he smells smoke. He gets up and sees all of the destruction that he and Thanos caused. He thinks to himself, "I lost everything. From my girlfriend, to my best friend, and now half of my state is gone. I can't stay here anymore. I have to leave." He walks until he sees buildings. He stretches his right arm and looks down at his web shooter canister and sees that it's still mostly full. He says, "I have enough to swing as far as I can. Hopefully my body doesn't catch up with me soon." He jumps up and starts swinging. He swings past buildings. He doesn't know which state he's in but he knows he's been swinging for a while. He feels his shoulder is starting to hurt and his fingers are starting to cramp up. He lowers himself a little bit before finally going down to the floor.
When he gets to the floor he falls and sighs. He gets up and starts walking. Then he starts limping again. All of the cuts he got from Ebony Maw are starting to hurt like hell. He's starting to feel the effects of getting punched over and over and kneed in the face by Thanos. He starts to feel himself slipping in and out of consciousness. Until finally he passes out on the floor. He fought aliens, now he doesn't know where he is, he lost everyone he loves, and he is alone now more than ever.
