(Next day at 1pm)

"Griff?" Harper said, taking a bite of her food.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Have you checked under the base board for a note from Savannah lately?"

"No, I haven't thought to look these past couple days."

"Griffin!"

"Whattt!"

"What if Savannah's in trouble!"

"She's fineee!"

"You're probably right, but still!" Harper laughed.

Griffin laughed along side Harper.

"What're you guys laughing at?" Zoe said. Walking into the dinning room.

"Nothing, griffin just made a joke," Harper replied, quickly.

"What kind of joke?" Zoe asked.

"Actually.. never mind, I don't wanna know it was probably dumb anyways."

Griffin and Harper just laughed.

"Whatcha guys eating?" Wyatt said, entering the room.

"Sandwiches," griffin said.

"Oh, peanut butter and jelly?"

"Yeah?" Griffin said, in confusion.

"I knew it!"

"What other sandwiches are there to eat?" Griffin asked.

"Well, ham and cheese, egg salad, Nutella-"

"Alright, alright!" Griffin laughed.
———————————

"You think there's anything there?" Harper asked the boy, who was prying the base board up with a crowbar.

"I don't know. Lets hope it's nothing bad though."

"For real."

To their surprise, there was something there. Griffin picked up the paper and read it out loud.

"Griffin, Harper, Sam isn't back yet. I don't know if he'll ever get back. If you find anything out, come to me, ASAP.
-Savannah" griffin read aloud.

"He's not back yet?" Harper questioned.

"Apparently not," griffin said, re-reading the note in his head.

"What do we do?" Harper asked, in worry.

"I don't know, but this note could be a few days old. Sam could be back now."

"Yeah, you're right. We should go make sure though."

"You mean we're going to see Savannah?"

"Yes, silly!" Harper exclaimed.

"Oh, okay!"

Harper laughed and set the year to 1960.

"Ready?" She asked.

"Yeah."

"Lets go," she sighed, but in a good way.
———————————

"Where's Savannah?" Griffin questioned.

"Not sure."

"She has her own bedroom here, right?" Griffin asked.

"Yeah, she lives here," Harper laughed and started walking towards the door.

Griffin chuckled and followed behind Harper.

"Shouldn't we ask someone where her room is?" Griffin said.

"Yeah, see anyone who would know?"

"Yes, actually," griffin said, walking towards Savannah's mom.

Harper followed behind.

"Hello, ma'am," griffin said, tapping her shoulder to get her attention.

"Oh! Hello, who are you?"

"We're Savannah's friend, we were wondering if she was home." Griffin said.

"Ah, yes! She's told me about you guys before! Her room is upstairs, room 106."

"Okay, thank you!" Harper said.

"She's told her mom about us?!" Griffin questioned as soon as they were out of sight.

"Yes, but she hasn't said we're from the future. I mean, she's from the future, why would she say anything?" Harper said walking up the stairs.

"True that."

Harper laughed, "this is her room. Wanna knock?"

"Nope."

Harper laughed and kissed him on the cheek, "will that's make you?"

"Fin-" he was cut off by Savannah opening the door.

"Did you just kiss?" She asked, then looked at griffin who was flustered.

"Oh, yeah!" Harper said.

"Awww! That's cutee!"

"Make it even better we're dating!" Harper said.

"What?! Congrats! You guys are meant to be together!"

"Thanks, Sav!" Harper said.

Griffin was still to flustered to speak.
