danielle was walking towards her and y/ns shared apartment after being gone for 1 week in San Diego for comic con. she came home a day late because of a flight delay and turbulence.

it was currently 3:40ish am, she got to the steps and put the key in the keyhole and opened the door slowly so it didn't make noise. when she entered she was greeted by her dog Romeo.

"hey buddy" danielle said quietly, while scratching the back of the small dogs ears.

she brought her suitcase in quietly and closed the door, locking it, she took off her shoes and put them by the door. she picked up her suitcase not wanting to wake y/n up with the noise of the wheels.

danielle opened the room door slowly and put her suitcase by the door before heading over to y/ns side of the bed and kneeling down and brushing a strand of y/ns hair behind her ear and cupping one side of her face while looking at her with heart eyes.

"oh god how i have missed you." Danielle whispered to herself.

she pressed a light kiss to y/ns forehead before grabbing some sleep clothes and changing. after that she walked to her side of the bed and layer down steadily. she rolled on her side away from y/ns back.

danielle heard a light sniffle and moved her head slowly to be meet with y/ns sleeping face. danielle lazily wrapped one arm around y/n lightly. y/n unconsciously nuzzled her head in Danielle's neck then throwing her leg around her thighs.

danielle tighten her hug slightly and closed her eyes

"sleep well my little dove..."
