Silver had just regrouped with Sonic and the others in Splatsville as this was shocking to them all.
"You guys were here all this time in another world?" Silver asked.
"Yeah. We were." Sonic replied.
"How come you never told me or the others?" Silver asked.
"Well, Sonic and the others were busy with keeping Inkopolis safe." Shadow explained.
"Oh. So, wait... what world is this?" Silver asked.
"This universe is where squid, octopus, and many other sea creatures have evolved for over 12,000 years as the current leading life forms of this planet when humans went extinct." Shadow explained.
"Whoa! That's crazy." Silver said shocked.
"It is. Over a century ago began the Great Turf War between Squidkind and Octarians." Callie said.
"The Octarians have attempted to steal the Great Zapfish that powers Inkopolis twice, but were thwarted." Marie said.
"It wasn't easy, but we beat their leader, DJ Octavio." Tails said.
"Shadow even stopped an A.I. named Tartar from destroying Earth." Knuckles said.
"Wait... that name is familiar." Silver said. "Wait, I remember!"
"Remember what?" Sonic asked.
"How I got sent here. I went to check the remains of Soleanna with Blaze, when we battled a hedgehog Scourge called Tartar." Silver explained.
"Wait! Tartar is alive?!" Shadow said shocked.
Silver nodded in response.
"He was working along side Scourge wearing a more punk style outfit." Silver continued.
"That must mean the Octostrikers are behind this." Sonic said.
"Wait, you said Blaze was with you. Where is she?" Amy asked.
"I don't know. She was sent through the portal before me. She must be somewhere else on Earth." Silver said.
Meanwhile, five octolings were overviewing Sonic and the others on top of one of the apartment buildings.
"So Shadow is with that treacherous white hedgehog." Mephiles said.
"You got that right, Master." Scourge said.
"So what's our orders?" Jinx asked.
"Well, my first task is to obtain any tech of the Professor that's useful to me, so I can use that to repair the NILS Statue." Mephiles explained.
"What for?" Rogue asked.
"It's so I can destroy this planet, once and for all!" Mephiles explained.
"Don't you remember what Tartar was doing before, Rogue?" Gizmo said, as he slapped Rogue.
"Hey! Don't blame me for being more brawn than brains." Rogue said.
"Also, who is this Blaze they're talking about down there?" Jinx asked.
"She and Silver attacked us. She was knocked in the portal, so she's somewhere else on Earth." Scourge replied.
"She's probably in one of the cold parts of this planet, Alterna." Mephiles said. "That might be where my Professor's lab is. Let's go."
Mephiles and the Octostrikers left for Alterna.
"Wherever we face Tartar next, we must keep our guard up for when we run in to him and the Octostrikers." Shadow said.
