Sonic and the others were still waiting for Tails, Amy, and Knuckles to arrive in Alterna. The fall would seem like a long way down. Shadow, Silver, and Callie teleported back from destroying Tartar.
"Shadow, Silver, Callie. You're back!" Sonic said.
"Did you guys defeat Tartar?" Captain asked.
"Yes. He's gone for good." Shadow said, as he smiled.
"Nice work, you guys." Marie said.
"There is also something else you guys should know." Shadow said.
"What is it?" Manic asked.
"I think we've found our chosen one to Aleena's medallion." Shadow said.
"Who?" Sonia asked.
Silver stepped forward as he smiled.
"Wait? Silver?!" Sonia and Manic said, in shock.
"Yup. When we did the final blow to strip Tartar of Mephiles' powers, my gauntlet turned into a golden guitar when Silver held it." Shadow said, handing Silver the gauntlet wristband.
Silver activated is as the guitar formed and the strap went around his body.
"So, you are the chosen one, Silver." Sonic said, taking out his mother's medallion. "So, what do you say? Want to be the fifth member to Sonic Underground?"
Silver took a look at the medallion Sonic was showing him. It wasn't in any instrument shape yet, because it hasn't bonded to its user. Silver knew there would be greater threats that this band needed to face. So he made his decision as he took the medallion.
"If this will make us stronger to save everyone, then I'm in!" Silver said, putting on the medallion around his neck.
The medallion surrounded a golden aura around Silver and the guitar on his torso. The guitar began to change as it formed to the inkling hedgehog to his style and the gauntlet was drained of the super charged power, and his medallion matched to the guitar's style.

"Wow! Looking good, Silver." Sonic said.
"Welcome to the band." Shadow said.
"Thanks, guys." Silver said. "Oh yeah, here."
Silver handed Shadow his Splat Gauntlet back as he put it back around his wrist. It was then that Tails flew in on his jetpack carrying Amy down. Knuckles also glided down as the three Inkling Mobians reunited with the others. Tails, Knuckles, and Amy's Hero Gear was upgraded to be like the others.
"Guys! Over here!" Tails called out.
"Tails! Knuckles! Amy!" Sonic said, as he saw the others were here. "You made it!"
