Justin sat down in his history class with a lot on his mind. The entire class he thought about Beyoncé and if she found the book he bought for her. He left the bed extra messy on purpose to get her attention.

*Flashback*

"Clarence!" Justin addressed the off duty chauffeur who sat in the kitchen.

"Yes sir?" The man spoke.

"Come here," Justin said, standing in the living room. The tall man quickly made his way to him. "Don't worry, you're not in trouble," he assured him. "Follow me," he led them to the foyer and looked around to make sure that no one was around. "Alright, I need you to run an errand for me," he said.

"Of course, sir," Clarence nodded.

"I need you to go to town and buy a book," Justin whispered.

"A book?" Clarence couldn't mask his surprise.

"I know, I know... Yes, a book." Justin pulled out a small piece of paper from his pocket, handing it to the man. "Listen, I don't care if you have to go to the next town over, go to every bookshop in the damn county. I need the book tonight," he spoke sternly.

"Of course, I'll get going sir." Clarence nodded and quickly walked away.

*End of Flashback*

"Mr. Dukes, would you be so kind to answer the question?" His professor asked him.

Justin looked around the room. All eyes were on him. He didn't know how long he zoned out. "Sorry, could you repeat that?" he chuckled nervously. The professor rolled his eyes and moved on to another student.

That made Justin pay attention for the rest of the class, however, his mind did occasionally drift to his plan. He was the first one to leave the classroom once the bell rang. He didn't waste time socializing in the courtyard like usual, but he was met with a lot of eyes and whispers that followed him all the way to the parking lot —the same way they had when he walked into class this morning. He was well aware that he was the subject to the juiciest gossip on campus.

Approaching his Aston-Martin, Justin found Vivian waiting for him, checking her hair in his car's side mirror. He rolled his eyes immediately. Once she noticed him, she frowned. "Justin..."

"What is it now?" He had an attitude as he stood next to his car.

"What happened yesterday?" she asked.

Justin pulled his keys out of his pockets. "You mean to tell me you haven't heard?" he spoke sarcastically.

"Don't be like that, Justin. Tell me what happened. We can talk, right?" she told him calmly.

"My God Vivian, I'm not in the mood alright?" He ran his hand over his face, trying to calm down a little.

"What's been going on with you lately? Things haven't been the same between us." She took a step toward him, but he reacted by taking a step backwards.

He had enough. "Vivian, just leave me alone! I don't know how direct I have to be to make you realize that I want nothing to do with you. 'Us' doesn't exist!" he saw her eyes water. "I'll be nice when your family is over, but I don't want to talk to you outside of that." He got inside his car and started the engine.

Vivian continued to stand next to the car, unable to accept that the conversation was over. The look on Justin's face said it all and that's when it hit her. "Justin, you can't do this!" She began to wail as she knocked on his window. "You can't just end things like this," she begged.
