"Justin! Justin, where are you?"

Beyoncé and Justin both looked over by the entrance of the stable. Morgan could be heard screaming her lungs out for her cousin. Her voice was getting closer and closer.

Justin restrained himself from voicing his frustration as he felt Beyoncé's body pulled away from his grasp. The moment he had been waiting for was over. "Beyoncé, wait!" Justin called out. However, she ignored him and quickly exited the stables.

Beyoncé's heart threatened to pound a hole through her chest as her oxygen supply felt extremely restricted. She felt so disoriented and lightheaded as she reached the top of the hill that she almost ran into Morgan.

"Beyoncé?" Morgan exclaimed, excited to see her friend, but she was also slightly confused."Do you know where Justin is? I've been looking for him." She sighed as she rested her hand on her hip.

"I think, he may be in the stables." Beyoncé's spoke in a shaky voice.

Morgan sighed and rolled her eyes. "Of course, thanks!" She hurried down the hill, leaving the maid.

Beyoncé thought at first that this had to be a dream. The most horrifying part was that she did nothing to stop it! She had let him touch her and almost kiss her. She began to panic. One moment she was kissing a kind and romantic bus boy turned boxer, and then the next she's with her boss' son, someone who used to hate her. She thought that what just happened with Justin can not  go any further than it already has.

Finally, she was able to compose herself enough to re-enter the house, hoping no one would realize just how long she had been gone, or where she had been off to...

.........................

David Dukes had come home early for once and requested that the cooks prepare dinner for an earlier time than usual. Beyoncé was thankful that he had done so because she was able to help prepare dinner, which always made her shift go by faster.

David now sat with his son, niece, and Kyle. He had not seen Justin all day and his silence bothered him. Even though they were on "bad terms", he was curious as to why he was acting so strange. "You've been awfully quiet, son," he noted as he wiped his lips with a napkin.

Justin looked up from his nearly full plate, as he saw three pairs of eyes waiting in anticipation for his reply. "Sorry, I have a lot on my mind. I'm not very hungry actually," Justin explained, pushing his plate aside as well. He signaled to one of the servants, who stood in the corner of the room to take his plate away to the kitchen. He then stood up from his chair.

"But you'll miss dessert. Alice prepared your favorite," David reminded his son.

"I'll have some tomorrow after dinner. Good night, I'll see y'all tomorrow," Justin replied in a monotone voice.

The table watched Justin as he left the large dining room; the three of them exchanging concerned looks. David turned to Morgan and Kyle. "What's wrong with him?"

Kyle simply shrugged; Justin had been this way since they had gotten home from their horse ride.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé was thankful that Alice had finished early, and that they would be going home earlier than usual this particular evening. Alice rambled on about her day as the two women hurried out the employee entrance at the back of the estate to Alice's car. As the older woman jumped into the driver's seat, Beyoncé turned to look in the direction of Justin's bedroom.

As she looked a little bit closer into the lit room, she saw a part in the deep red drapes, with Justin standing in the middle. He looked down, no doubt at her, and Beyoncé wished she could get a clear glimpse of his face. She wondered if he felt the same anxiety and confusion that she did. Quickly, Beyoncé tore her gaze from the large window; how had she gotten to this point?
