it was a few hours after Ashlyn had the baby,me,Q and his bandmates slept on the floor in the basement.I woke up having a very slight headache,and felt that everything around me was blurry.
“Q…Q..”-Allani
I struggled to try to wake him up,I tugged on to his shirt for dear life,then he woke up.
“Lani..what’s wrong,you ok”
“it’s..so cold..”
Q put his palm over my head and noticed that I was severely sick.Q picked me up and carried me upstairs. Q laid me on the couch and asked my mom if she had any medicine.My mom grabbed the medicine and sat next to me holding my head as i was drinking out of the medicine cup.
“we have to get her to the hospital,grab me my coat”
“was she always like this?”
“ever since she was two,she caught the flu from amounts of stress,the doctor said it can most likely kill her”
“i’ll take her to the hospital then”
“are you sure?”
“yes..she’s my fiance,i need to do what’s right in this situation”
Q covered me in a blanket,then carried me to the car.While we were driving to the hospital,i was struggling to breathe.When we got to the hospital,Q yelled for help and suddenly I was rolled away.
The moment I woke back up,I saw Q sleeping across from me on the couch.I laid there in silence thinking about what had just happened to me.A few minutes later,Q woke up and then saw me,I looked at him with tears in my eyes,smiling. Q walked over,hugging me tightly and crying,I cried too. Soon after my mom came in with a stuffed bear.
“my baby..are you ok?”
“I’m feeling a little better now..thanks momma”
My mom put the bear down and sat beside me with a sad look on her face.
“everyone is worried about you back at home..”
“i know…this is the first time,Q saw me like this”
I turned to Q still feeling a little unwell,held both of his hands and looked him straight in the eye.
“Q i’m sorry if i scared you like that”
“it’s ok..you were stressed out that it caused you to get sick”
“i know..i don’t want you getting scared that you won’t love me anymore”
I looked away in tears as I said those words.Q stood up and hovered over me. I looked up at him feeling a little scared,but his reassuring eyes made me feel safer than I have ever been.
“I will never leave you stranded like that,you complete me Lani,everything from your personality ,and the way you look,makes me want to love you forever,I will sacrifice whatever i have to make sure your healthy”
I hugged Q tightly, feeling his warm embrace,I blushed hard seeing my mother cry in the distance,wiping her tears,she went up to us and gave us a hug.
“I'm so proud of the both of you,me and your father owed too much to you Alla..and Q,continue to take care of my sweet muffin you hear me?”
Q nodded and then kissed me,a few hours later we arrived back home and everyone came outside and hugged me.
“Alla we were so worried about you! don’t scare us like that again”
“I'll try not to, but I doubt that’ll be a promise..”
“we’re glad you came back..because we have something we need to tell you”
“what is it?”
“someone posted a video of you singing at our big concert in L.A”
“Is that bad?”
Kye looked the other way feeling scared,soon the rest of them did.
“some of the female celebrity fans wanna take your place..”
I turned to Q with a very worried expression,then i looked at everyone else.
“I want to announce our engagement..”
“Lani..that’ll risk your privacy..are you sure you wanna do that?”
“Yes”
Deep down I did not know what was going to happen to me then..but I was determined to get through this with the people around me.
