When I woke up,I looked over and saw q laying next to me,on his phone.
"Morning beautiful"
"Morning"
"you sleep ok?"
sat up and looked deep into his eyes..
"I slept good,how'd you sleep?"
"i slept alright"
Q got up and went to go get dressed,i grabbed my phone and saw a lot of the text i missed while i was a sleep,and two missed calls from my mom
I called my mom right away
"Momma are you alright?"
"Your brother is home, but..he brought home a pregnant girl"
"wait what? John brought a pregnant women into our house?!"
I cried over the phone.
"your brother has lost his mind! he went from joining gangs,to paying debts,skipping school,and now..he got a girl pregnant"
"i'm sorry mama..."
"Alla,if I had learned anything raising you guys,is that all i can do is discipline and love you until you love your own family"
"I know mama..and uh..mama..i slept with Q last night.."
"did you-"
"no mama i didn't do "IT" with him,i just talked to him about how i felt about what's going on right now"
Q walked in smiling at me and then sat down next to me
"is he there?"
"actually yea.."
I turned to q and smiled.
" would you like to talk to my mother?"
"sure"
Q grabbed the phone and started talking to my mom..
"hey..yea this is q"
"are you being kind to my daughters?"
"yes ma'am,your daughters are beautiful"
"thank you,they get their looks from me"
I went into the bathroom and got dressed,when i went back out they were still on the phone.
"ha..that's funny"
"hey..what are you guys talking about?"
"we were talking about how you use to be in talent shows"
"oh yea...i was pretty great.."
"anyway...huh! oh my goodness!"
"mama? is everything ok?"
"your father is home..and he doesn't look happy,listen i have to go,it was nice meeting you q"
"you too"
"bye! love you alla"
"love you too mama"
i hung up the phone and just sat down feeling scared,Q scooted up and hugged me.
"I just...my family..i can't"
"i know.."
"i'm sorry,i didn't wanna bring you into this"
"you have nothing to be sorry for..just know that i love you,all of us make mistakes"
"Q...how did you get into this band?"
"well,us boys met during our freshman year and we just been musically inclined ever since"
"that's amazing.."
Larrenso burst open the door,with my sister attached to him.
"Q! get her off me man!!"
Q got up and grabbed Trisha from Larrenso.
"can you let me go please?"
"Trisha behave and no clinging on Larrenso,besides he isn't interested in you"
"why do you always gotta be so bossy?"
"i'm just looking out for you because your just out of control Trisha"
"how do you know?! YOU NEVER HAD A SINGLE GUY IN YOUR WHOLE LIFE!"
My body froze in place as she said that..i clenched my fist with tears running down my face. i walked up to Trisha and slapped her
"Alla-"
"I don't care anymore..just don't come crying to me when you need comfort"
"Alla i-"
"Leave me alone!!"
I went into the bathroom and slammed the door,when we got to the stage i ignored my sister and went into the dressing room.
Q came in with a batch of roses.
"Lani..can we talk?"
"yea.."
Q sat in front of me and put the roses on my vanity.
"i don't wanna forgive Trisha Q.."
"I know..but your lucky to even have siblings..i'm an only child..my parents died the day after i graduated highschool"
Q looked down sadly after saying that,to be honest i felt bad for him.
"i..i'm so sorry q..i didn't know"
"it's alright..even though they're gone..their spirits kept me going"
"Q...i..i really love you..genuinely"
"I love you too..now come on we gotta show to do"
We left the dressing room and then went on stage to perform.
