I can't hear anything. A ringing sound resonates in my brain. I'm blacking out.

Am I dead?

Why does it smell of gasoline? Haha f*ck. Does hell smell like this?

Wait. No. I'm not dead. I can faintly hear footsteps leaving my vicinity. Move! This f*cking body. Move!

I can feel my body now but I still can't move it. Think. I don't want to die. What wrong did I ever do to die like this? I've been obedient. So why should that b*tch survive again and not me?

Concentrate. Let's just get us back to our senses. You're feeling that knife? Now pull it out of your chest. Nevermind the pain. Just pull it out. You got this. Let's use this f*cking talent of ours to good use. Telekinesis.

Sh*t. It's not that I don't feel the excruciating pain. I'm just not afraid of hurting. I'm more afraid of losing more blood. Blood on these veins won't pump any less than it ever has anyway.

Finally, I can move since the pain gave me reflex reactions and I got the hang of it. It's already burning here. My ear. And my face burns even more. That b*tch blasted my left temple and ear with a gun.

Did she miss?

I pulled out three vials from my coat. I bit all three and gulped in the fluid inside. I don't care if glass pieces pierce though the insides of my mouth and throat. Like that's what I need to worry about right now. I've never drunk this serum before. It's meant to be injected. I also haven't taken three at once before. So whatever happens to my body, I'm not too sure of the outcome.

Nothing's happening. I'm just lying here in the ground. I can barely move my body. I can only hear loud ringing through my left ear and it was deafening me from all the other sound I can grasp. I also can barely see anything from the fire. Breathing? With all this smoke? Fatally awful.

What's this feeling?

My senses. Everything's pulsating. I can feel every blood flow. Every small little movement in my body like time is slowed down. The minuscule air that's coming in. The hair follicles on my skin. Sweat falling. The insides of my body barely keeping it up. And my blood rushing back to my brain.

I can manipulate my tissues like they're workers of mine. So I decided to heal my body faster. As I regained at least a fraction of my strength, I placed all of my pressure on these legs, stood up and run as fast as I could. Walls are breaking in front of me since I can't think of direction in this situation. I just need to get away as far as I could. Find a safe haven.

I'll see you again, Koo Ja Yoon.
