the girl who knew too much

Scott and Nellie had been having one of their regular movie nights, the girl following through with the promise that the wolf had made to his best friend, forcing him to watch Star Wars like Stiles had instructed her to. Stiles knew he had no chance of getting his best friend to watch the film on his own behalf, someone would have to sit and make him watch the entire thing. And who better than Nellie? Scott would never argue against her, not only because of how close they were but after what they'd seen he wouldn't want to risk his eyebrows being singed off by the girl if she got angry. Even though Nellie had tried following the promise she'd made to Stiles to make Scott watch the movie, she hadn't quite stuck to it. Throughout the entire movie she and the wolf had been sharing their experiences of this morning, Nellie told Scott the story of Derek and Paige. She felt he had the right to know why Derek was the way he was too, maybe it would answer some questions he'd always had about the Alpha as it had for her and Stiles. In turn, Scott shared everything that Gerard told him and Allison. Though the two had received their stories from different sources, neither were quite sure whether they could trust that it was the truth. Peter and Gerard were two of the most wicked people Scott had ever met, both cunning, they could lie as if it was in their nature. Not a skip of the heartbeat. Not a single guilty feeling.

But for now, all the two could do was believe what they had been told. And hope that the information they were given didn't get anyone killed.

Before the movie had ended Nellie had already fallen asleep under the covers, curled up as she held tightly onto a pillow, the wolf tried to watch the final few moments so he could at least quote some of it when Stiles next quizzed him, but he too ended up falling asleep. Only he had fallen asleep on top of the covers, sitting up and still holding on tight to the bowl of popcorn that they'd been sharing.

It was late when the two got the phone call that had caused them to spring out of bed, Nellie had never jumped out the covers as fast as she had then to grab her phone from Scott's bedside table. Immediate worry came over her as she saw Lydia's caller ID on the screen. Within a matter of seconds, both of the teenagers were rushing around to pull on their shoes and jackets, Nellie's phone still pressed to her ear as she pulled a hoodie over her head, as for the shorts she'd been wearing, they would have to do. Once the two were somewhat appropriately dressed they were on Scott's dirtbike racing to the school where Lydia had told them to meet her, for what, her details were vague. "It happened again."

When they pulled into the school parking lot Allison's car was already pulled up beside Lydia's abandoned car, it hadn't been much of a surprise she'd made it here first, she did live the closest to the school now she lived in the apartment. Stiles pulled up beside the dirtbike, almost falling out of the Jeep as he rushed to find out why Lydia had called them here again and what exactly "It happened again" meant. The first thing he did was ask Nellie and Scott where she was as they climbed off the dirtbike, removing their helmets.
