CH.9 "i love you..."

//sapnap's pov//

we all got in the car and y/n sat in the front i sat in the back. she was texting Karl and i peaked just a little. Karl and her were just talking about some ideas they had for when we got there. i saw Karl typing and he asked her. "do you like him?" who was him? y/n dropped her phone and just stayed still. she picked her phone back up and texted him back. "i don't know how i feel about him,i think i like him idk at this point." she sent it to him. but who were they talking about.who does y/n may or may not like? we got to this arcade and dream stopped the car. "were here and its gonna be fun so hurry up." 

he got out of the car and y/n looked at me she got out and so did i. she reached her arm out for me to grab and i did we walked into the arcade holding hands. we went to this racing game with three different seats. dream came back with a bunch of quarters. "lets play." he said and got on the side one. y/n got in the middle and i got on the other side. we put the quarters in and pressed three player. we were racing each other dream obviously won and y/n got second i got last. "i only got last because y/n bumped into me." it was true she hit my car. "ok maybe but you love me so its ok." she said smiling at me. "your right." i told her. we played a bunch more games and then we all ran out of quarters we had four quarters each and then we used them for the small quarter machines in the arcade. dream used his to but a gumball, y/n used hers to get a frog eraser because it was cute and i used mine to get this pretty ring from the little machine. 

"y/n here i got you something." i grabbed her hand and put it on her middle finger. she smiled at me and gave me a peck on the cheek she then took it off and put it on her ring finger and told me. "thank you nick, i will cherish it forever." she then skipped her way to the car. dream drove us to a thrift shop and we all ran in. this was now our little spot that was just for us,ok well maybe not just us but when we were there we acted like it was just us. and the little old lady,we learned that her name was Cindy. 

turns out in middle school when y/n was going through hell Cindy was always there to cheer her up and eat lunch with her.on y/n's free time she would go to this thrift shop and talk to Cindy who worked there as a side job. Cindy was a mother figure to y/n in those days and will continue to be as long as she lives. we thrifted for a while before going to check out. y/n,dream,and i got matching crew necks that were sky blue and had a white outline of a heart,y/n chose them of course but i loved it.

 we then decided to go to our favorite hangout spot from high school,it was called Daniels Diner and it was a cute little diner ran by an old-ish man. if we weren't at school and we weren't at dreams house we were there after school we went to the diner,after staying the night at dreams house and being hungry the diner,etc.  when we walked in the diner looked the same from the many years when we basically lived there.we wouldn't even eat, half the time we would just got here to hang out and talk,other times we would go there to get milkshakes and talk. we walked to the counter and saw Daniel. "oh my,i haven't seen you three in years." he said with a big smile on his face.

//3rd person//

"hi, i'm so glad to see you again." y/n said with a smile and the sound of y/n's voice made him blush. Daniel had seen sapnap blush. "i see your still crushing on y/n." he said to sapnap witch made him blush even more. "what?" y/n asked looking very confused. "nothing its nothing." sapnap said walking to the booth they always sat at. y/n looked at dream and then went to sit by sapnap. dream ordered 3 milkshakes 1 strawberry for y/n and two chocolate ones for him and sapnap.

y/n sat next to me and smiled at me. god i couldn't resist her especially when she smiled at me.i smiled at her back and we just smiled at each other making eye-contact the entire time. dream came back with three milkshakes 1 strawberry for y/n of course and two chocolates for me and him. "yknow we could just share one." y/n said looking at me and smirking. smiled at her and put my hand on her thigh. She choked on her milkshake and looked at my hand on her thigh. i whispered in her ear. "are you ok with this?" i asked her. she looked up at me and our faces were so close, she nodded and smiled.

 "kiss already!" dream yelled. we both blushed and kept drinking our milkshakes.(idk much about airports and planes so be nice to me lol) it was 8:30 and we had to leave at 9:00 so we headed home. me and y/n got our suit cases and walked back to the car,dream drove us to the airport and walked us to the plane gates. y/n hugged dream. "see you soon." she said pecking him on the cheek. that made me feel kinda jealous for some reason. i hugged dream too and he whispered. "don't worry bro i'm not gonna steal your girl."

 he said laughing. he left and me and y/n got on the plane be sat down and i got window seat because y/n was afraid of heights. the loud speaker said the plane was taking off and i could tell y/n was shaking.so i grabbed her hand and held it tight. she looked at me and rested her head on my shoulder so i rested my head on hers. y/n ended up falling asleep witch i thought was adorable. "nick..." i heard y/n say. she must've been talking in her sleep because she mumbled it and her eyes were shut. i listened to what she said though. "i love you..." i mean we have said it to each other before so it couldn't have been weird. but it felt like it meant more when she said it.
