Chapter 13: Miserable

CHANYEOL POV
After we heard about the news, we decided to go home first to have energy.

"Is it really true?" Lay suddenly asked out of nowhere.

My heart broke 10 times this day. My wife, my everything.

"We need to accept the fact that....that...." I burst out crying and fell on the sofa.

Baekhyun also burst out crying and the others comforted us.

"Dad?" John Kim suddenly went out his room.

"J-john kim...." I said then wiped my tears.

"What's wrong Dad?" He asked.

"N-nothing. I'm just tired." I lied. I don't want John Kim to know that he's mother is at the Hospital. I know that I will break his heart.

"Where's Mom?" He asked.

I was a little unsteady first but Chen answered.

"Your Mom is at the studio having a special photoshoot." He said then smiled.

"Really? Okay. You should rest Dad and you too." John Kim said then look at the Exo.

We all smiled at him as he went back to his room.

"Let's eat dinner." Suho said.

When we walk to the dining area, there was food on the table with a note.

I grabbed the note and pasted it at the refrigirator.

"Aika, cooked us food." Luhan said.

We all first prayed and cherished the food.

The next morning......

I woke up from the sound of our alarm clock.

"Goodmorning baby-" I forgot, Aika isn't here.

My hallucinations are killing me.

I entered the bathroom, washed my face and brushed my teeth.

I changed my clothes and went out our room.

"Morning, channie." Baekhyun greeted.

All of them are ready, they must have waited for me.

I smiled first and peeked at John Kim's door.

He's still sleeping with the maids. I smiled at the scene.

"Let's buy breakfast." I said.

We went out our dorm and straight into the nearest restaurant around.

We ate our meals and went straight to the hospital.

"Doc, can we enter Aika's room?" I asked.

"Sure you can. But it can only be 2 persons at a time." He explained.

We decided to let Tao and Kris enter first.

And Me & Baekhyun the last.

When it's finally Me & Baekhyun's turn, I can't hold on to my tears anymore.

I burst out crying infront of Aika.

"Baby, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. Please come back to us, we need you. I promise to take care of you with all my heart." I promised.

Baekhyun seemed relax now and just stood there holding Aika's hand while closing his eyes.

We prayed the Father's prayer and left the room.

3 weeks later

Our life has been miserable without the source of fun and joy at the mansion and at the dorm.

Who is that? My wife, Aika.

Before she had a coma, she has been so joyful and always make the mansion alive.

And at the dorm, she always cook for us and take care of us.

I just can't believe it that this happened to our life but we had been great friends and husband to her.

Before this emotional moment goes long, we all headed to the Hospital to visit Aika.

When we reached her room, we saw two doctors inside it that can be seen on the glass window.

I can't count how many times my hertbeat beated.

When the doctors went out Aika's room, they all had little smiles on their faces.

"Are you the patient's family?"

We nodded.

"According to the observation, Ms.Park Syun had great visions and senses. She must have sense you yesterday on your visit and she made a move. A tear went down her closed eyes and her fingers interlocked 10 seconds. Congratulations, she might wake up soon. Excuse us."

I-is that really real?

"YES!" We shouted with smiles that reached our ears.
